The rainfall isn't to bad as Chrona opens the warehouse doors. "Hackers just come in from Manhatten, Vory ties but not one himself. The mage is n Ex-merc, very dependable."

@Space: "5 or 6 of em, first time running together"

<<@Team: At last check, we'll need the sedan to move the guy.  Besides, why wouldn't the two women whose picture the police have, and whose car is full of illegal weaponry be the ones to go check and see if the safehouse is crawling with tin men?  It's just good sense.>>
Joe looked for a moment at the barrel where she had been laying earlier, and then walked to the sedan.

@LJ "The weapons are not in the sedan, not any more. and I guess the small car has enough space to get the body away, or in worst case i can drive my car back by remote.
Just chill, they can take care of themselves, they have proven this already."
Prepare for the worst, hope for the best and expect nothing!

"Sounds like something," Kitten said, "I just have a couple of questions.  What kind of team is it?  What kind of job, just so I know if I need to prepare something special?  And what's the pay?"

She has always been rather direct, also with employers.  She always found it preferable to get the annoying questions out of the way as quickly as possible.

"Pays whatever you can get out of them, this is more to get you on a team. You're coming in right at the and of a run but they need o return someone they just interrogated to the Johnson. Their getting paid for it.
You see the news about Club Equilibrium last night? They were involved.
They're delivering the body across the street, hence needing mana assistance.
The team is 5 currently, varied bunch, you'll be meeting 3 of them here while the others meet the hacker I've also called in and check on a lead."

"Okay, I'll come around," Kitten said.  She didn't believe in waiting either.  Take a decision and stick with it.
"Might take a while, though. I don't have a vehicle at the moment and cabs don't go where you live."

Well, getting close wouldn't be a problem.  Cabs would run to touristville without problem, but it was the last 10 miles or so that would be the issue.  Luckily she knew a way around it.  After calling a cab, she went to her lodge which looked like an old Egyptian temple.

"Oh Isis, granddaughter of the mighty Ra," she started in ancient Egyptian, "Goddess of the skies, wife of Osiris, please hear my pleas.  I would like to request assistance from one of your divine servants."

@Space: "5 or 6 of em, first time running together"

Gerad, as specific as ever, Space thought to himself, he had expected a little bit more than just their number, but what ever. The runners will tell him all he need to know for the run.
And so, Space came around a corner and stops infront of the meeting place, looking around for other people. He know that Gerad wouldn't send him into a trap, those thing can end the carrier of a fixer very quickly, and deadly. But this was still Puyallup and so Space keeps his hand near his Ares under his raincoat.

drain= hits of spirit=1.  I'll buy the hits for the drain (I have 9 dice).  I have one service.

"I will require your services later today, fair Banafrit," Kitten said to the spirit, again in Egyptian, "Please wait in for my calling in the temple of Isis."

When the taxi arrived, she had him take her to Touristville.  From there she walked into the Barrens, but after a block or so, when the tourists were gone and the real gang territories had not yet started, she called her spirit again.  Jean-Jacques called it putting a spirit on 'stand-by', while she called it 'waiting in the temple'.  But the hermitic mage had more fun ways of putting things, at least in her eyes.

"Fair Banafrit, please use your power of movement to make me run faster until I ask you to stop."

With that done, she started to run, at three times the speed of a normal person, now running at a maximum speed of around 50 mph.  This way she could cover the distance to her destination much quicker then she normally could and she wouldn't get more fatigued than when she ran it at her normal speed.  It would also throw of the gangs and other undesirables who wanted to 'talk' to her.

Quickly she arrived at the warehouse where she had to be.  First order of business was a quick look in the astral, where she saw there was a mana barrier around the warehouse.
Very nice, someone really put resources in this, she thought as she mentally called Banafrit.

"Banafrit, I thank you for your help," she said to her spirit, "and hereby I give you leave to return to the temple of Isis."

With the spirit gone, she gave the building another look as she caught her breath after the run.  She also send a message to BloodClaw that she had arrived at the warehouse.

<<@Andromeda:  The highly illegal weaponry I was talkin about is the Ares Alpha that crazy Russian slitch pulled out of her trunk when we went to go see Creepy Joe.  That thing's just sitting in the back of her little toy car waiting to start a war.  As far as handling themselves, I had to kill 7 people just to stomp out their cybereyes the last time those two went off on their own.>>

<<@team:  Good luck guys.  Think of me when you're making out later, okay?>>

With the dwarf having turned down being stuffed in the trunk, and LJ's comment over the comm's ignored, Noise departs with Silk to the 'safe' house.

The early morning streets are empty and it looks like it's finally stopped raining for a bit, though the reflections on the wet pavement seems to stretch the road out.  Oddly enough Silk seemed quite content to stay quiet during this trip and Noise has nothing to say .

Noise drove right by the safe house, checking to make sure there was no, well at least no obvious, stake out or anyone watching the place.  She hated to admit it, but that mage would have came in handy for a little look see through the place.

The streets are few and far between for pedestrians, Noise spots a Dwarf nearby the safe house who must be the Hacker with Vory ties.
It's still raining lightly as you rendezvous, Silk checking the security codes and introducing herself to Space

When a human woman approach Space and greets him, he thought that this most likely is the face of that runner team.
Politely as possible, Space bows his head slightly and says: "Hallo, I heard that your team need a Hacker? If so, I'm Space, at your service."
Space waits a few moments and continue talking: "Since I assume we don't like to stay in this rain forever, could you tell the three W's about this job: What, when, where? And of course the 'How much.' While speaking, Space pulls his raincoat tight where it becames disorderly through the walk to this place.

Arriving at the warehouse, she slowly entered.  She saw four people upon entering.  One was clearly a ghoul and therefore probably her contact.
"Good day," she said, "Someone needed a mage here?"
