5 Stun between the two shots

8d6.hits(5) → [4,6,1,3,2,4,1,3] = (1)
Only 1 hit, so 9 init...
I don't want to be in the open still for shots 3 and 4, so spending edge to go first

The blasts were extremely loud and Noise felt the impact of both shots. Fire raced along her body as she rolled into the closet looking for cover from the turret, but not before sending a long burst at the turret.

Quote
= (2)  Oops forgot one pt of uncompensated recoil (unless you use the strength optional rule)  AND... forgot the wound modifier... So only 1 hit dropping the last dice. So, DV9 with 1 hits AP 0.

Noise winces as she rolls into the closet and hits something inside awkwardly, she just hoped she had enough cover now to prevent herself becoming swiss cheese.

Noise:

Noise's rounds only meet the far wall, there's no relieving metal-on-metal sound. Now outside with Silk, Space ignores her questions and pulls up AR to send the codes.

When there's a sharp BRAPPP from a different part of the room, and assault rounds landing around Noise, it obviously didn't work.

Noise screams as her refuge starts to turn into a well ventilated box. She throws herself against the floor hearing the bullets race what must be mere centimetres above her.

IC is mocking me....  :o So, end up with 7 hits, but lose another edge  :'(

Noise prepares herself for the next assault, while yelling out to Space and Silk.  "Need fuckin' help here!"

After Noises shout there's nothing but silence or a second. and then the sound of a Savalette Guardian being fired once.

Its followed by the sweet sound of EX-Ammo hitting the turret and metal hitting the floor... right next to Noise.

The turret had moved again, looking into the closet. If it had gotten another shot off... well you'd rather not think about it.
As Silk holsters her firearm the street lamps illuminate her from behind, Noise can see her outline in the door way as she looks up. "Don't worry Hun, I had you covered."

I don't know what scares me more right now, that turret or you Silk. That was awsome!
Space's head looks around the door frame, right next to Silk.

"Awesome but loud. Let's search quickly." She helps Noise up then walks through to the top left bedroom. "You two check the other rooms."

Noise finds a light switch on the other wall.

Now that the lights are one, Space takes a closer look at the turret. 4 hits
He puts on his last stimu patch (and make a mental note to buy some more, later).

Space moves one to the main room, still pressing his hand on the patch where the bullets had hit his back. When he
walked near to Noise, he says:
You perhaps park your car near the back door, Noise, some additional seconds would be nice, if the cops show up.

So, the good stuff will be proberbly next to the node, so Mr. Salt can grap all at once in case of an quick runaway.
And once more in this last minutes he concentrate onto AR and send a command to the building node:
<Play file: example_music.mp3 on system speaker.>
It won't sound very nice but it should help him to locate the node. Space modify his SoundFilters with the music file to support his listening.
Listen for music: 5 hits
SoundFilter: +1 = 6 hits in total

If or after he found the node, Space moves on and look over the rest of the main room:
First going around the sofa, checking also under the cushions,
then went to check the two closets, near the bedroom doors
and finally going through the kitchen. Space doesn't know when the last time someone visited the building and therefore opens the fridge very carefully
All three rolls.

Always taking a quick look at his scan program to see if he is near something which sends wifi-signals.

Anything you wanted to do before this, more spells/disguises/etc is fine just put them in your post before reacting to the checkpoint.
Is Kitten in the driver's seat?

That was going to be my suggestion.  LJ is going to be using her adult disguise and playing off Kitten as her driver.

As they rode, LJ began getting dressed, again over her chameleon suit.  This time, she put on a blouse and dark beige woman's suit with a wide belt.  The chameleon suit underneath filled her out enough to pass as a dwarf, and her variable lift shoes gave her the extra height needed to finish the effect.  Taking off the hood, she began with her nanopaste disguise, darkening her face to a Mediterranean shade with dark, thin eyebrows.  Finally, she grabbed a wig with a tight bun, held by two sticks, creating the rather severe, no-nonsense look which matched her SIN.  She set said SIN to broadcast, becoming Angela Diabolik in appearance, manner and document.

Quote
Edit test for nanopaste. Edit 6 +1 skill +2 spec = 9d6.hits(5) → [6,6,1,1,2,6,4,6,4] = (4)  Forgot a die for the commlink optimization.  1d6.hits(5) → [1] = (0) notin more.
Disguise test.  Int 5 + 4 skill + 1 dem shoe +4 nanopaste = 14d6.hits(5) → [2,3,3,6,5,6,6,2,3,3,4,6,6,1] = (6)

While she was preparing, she spoke.  "You should probably move into the driver's seat to maintain appearances.  By your militaristic attire and manner, it would be best if you adopted the ruse of being my driver and personal bodyguard.  I should be able to speak to the police if necessary, however, at this hour, even their suspicions should be worn out.  If you would like to know more about our current situation or the people with whom you have been unfortunate enough to find yourself saddled, please feel free to ask.  I have been working diligently to learn about their attitudes and limitations.  I have poked, prodded, lied to and scared them in order to learn as much as I could.  It isn't all bad news, so don't worry yourself too much.  Additionally, if you'd like to discuss our passenger, I have a proposition for you.  As it stands, this man is a witness to mass murder committed by a rich and powerful man, who also happens to be our target.  This gives him value beyond his status as an organ bank.  It might be better to find a place where we can keep him restrained.  The organ bank might be a good place for that still, since they like to keep their 'donors' alive yet suspended to preserve their freshness.  I plan to suggest this to our contact at the body shop, a man named Joe."

"OK, no problem," Kitten said, climbing in the pilot's seat while she put her Maria De la Vega SIN on broadcasting so the KE officers could scan it.  It came with a drivers licence, a licence for her pistol and a registration and licence as mage.  But first they had to make the guy in the back dissapear.  Since the car was still Driven by Andromeda, she quickly casted improved invisibility on their cargo.  She felt a sligth headache coming up, but she continued with the spell.

Quote
Spellcasting: improved invisibility (force 5) on the guy we have with us (and who's still unconscious I guess): magic 6 + spellcasting 5 = 11 (11d6.hits(5)=5)
drain: (F/2)+1=3: willpower 4 + intuition 5=9 (9d6.hits(5)=2) => 1S damage

As they arrived at the checkpoint, she quickly looked into the astral to see if the KE had magical back-up, like spirits or mages, and she also assensed the officers.  It was a bit difficult while keeping up the invisibility, but it wasn't the first time she had done this.

Quote
Assensing: I assume 2 officers, and I've added one roll to assence a spirit or astrally projecting mage, should there be one.  Otherwise ignore the last roll.
intuition 5 + assensing 3 - sustained spell 2=6
officer 1 (the one asking the question) (6d6.hits(5) =1),
officer 2 (6d6.hits(5) =3),
spirit or mage (6d6.hits(5) =2)

Silk had decided to ignore LJ's warnings about being pulled over for police investigation. Last time KE pulled her over, it wasn't the car they'd been checking out.

She lost track of time and space on the way there, lying against the car seat enjoying the spam of missed messages. She'd spent the last couple of hours with barely any Matrix interaction but now she'd put her commlink back to normal, the missed messages warnings from a dozen social sites, PM's, tridlinks and voicemails washed over her. She started browsing through them, not leaving anything unread or unwatched. After some time she registered a "hello" from a guy called Space and remembered he was the hacker Chrona was going to send her way. She was impressed, she hadn't given anyone the address of the safe house, so the hacker must've hacked into her commlink and found it... not bad at all, though he'd better not have watched any other info that could've been found in there.
She sent him some codes and for a moment wanted to say something to him, but a new message from a friend that had seemed to have dropped from the matrix up until now popped up and she forgot all about real life again, her focus shifting fully into the AR again.

It took gunfire to draw her attention back to the real world.
Silk was still very disoriented and only half aware of the situation when she'd drawn her gun and fired, but fate apparently was smiling on her. There wasn't any need to let it seem like she'd ever lost her grip on the situation.
Time to get to business. Having send the rest off to search other parts of the safe house, she headed to the room where the vault was and had a good look around.

Tracks. There were tracks around the entire ceiling, that's how it closed in on Noise. Silk's shot had blasted it off it and it lay disabled and broken on the ground.
As far as Space can tell... It's an Assault rifle he doesn't recognise attached to a drone he doesn't recognise. It was wireless incapable. The track was a part of the drone, on it's own internal system, with datajacks on the far wall.
There's two, 30-Round, clips in the assault rifle, 55 rounds left. The under barrel shotgun had 3 rounds left. What a welcoming committee.

Your Assensing shows mundane, with some 'ware, usual amount for KE Officers, eyeware and wired.

"I'm going to have to ask you out of the car," His hand was on the Pred IV in his holster, His partner pulled his Pred IV, but didn't raise it, and stood in front of the sedan.

"You'll both be accompanying us to the station for questioning," he turned to the Dwarf passenger," how do you know the driver miss, her SIN is a forgery?"

Noise moves out of the house, leaving the searching to the others as she heads back to the car to nurse her wounds.  She really hopped the Tinnies wouldn't should up as she only had room for one, and she didn't trust this hacker well enough to leave him behind.  She dug another pack of cigarettes from the glovebox, lit it, and activated the auto-injector in her armour.  As the waves of pleasure from the drug washed over her,  she started to unwind,

@Slik: Nice shot.  Fucker had me pinned.  Remind me to shoot that dwarf.  Fucking hacker said he'd shutdown the defences.

Noise kept her watch in the car, looking for any signs of impending trouble.

Interesting, a throw away commlink with such a high firewall?, Space thinks to himself,
when he takes the commlink. Still curious about the self-destruction, he checks the cabling of the node to see
if something unusually is there: 3 hits.

Then he continue with his search through the rest of the house.

First going around the sofa, checking also under the cushions,
then went to check the two closets, near the bedroom doors
and finally going through the kitchen. Space doesn't know when the last time someone visited the building and therefore opens the fridge very carefully
All three rolls.
And for the bathroom (6 hits) and the bedroom (4hits).

When he comes next to the data check of the turret, he kneels down and plugs himself in. Space make
a quick analyse of what he sees, specially to find out why the codes didn't work. Ready to find a last nasty
surprise, he went into VR: Matrix Perception: 4 hits
