Hey everyone, new here. I was just looking for a Shadowrun forum since I love the game, I've had it since it's release date and continue to play it today.

I had a quick question for you guys, how would I get in contact with the owner of this forum? I was trying to find a "Forums Leaders" list, but didn't have much luck... :\

Bull told me to play nice.  And, as I'm Canadian and he's in the USA (Not to mention probably larger than me.), it's usually a good idea to stay on the positive side of folks that probably carry large amounts of firearms and ammunition.

Welcome to the forum, Devoid, even if you're here looking for the video game and not the pen-and-paper RPG it was (loosely) based upon.  Jason Hardy is the line developer for Shadowrun and posts on here pretty regularly, but depending on the nature of your question anyone with a "moderator" or "administrator" type tag under their user name should be able to help you out.

*Cough*  Loosely?  The only thing in the video game I could find that spoke Shadowrun to me was the Ares Predator Pistol.  Everything else, not so much.  Decent shooter, however.

And would TV Lie to me?    You mean there isn't gunfights on ever corner and car chases on every freeway all the time?

Anyhow, Devoid, there's no big forums for the video game, and you'll get quite a few...  "Comments" about what M$ did to the video game.  Especially when they could have done so much better and at less cost.  But, c'est la vie.  Welcome here!

The forums are "Owned" by Catalyst Game Labs (In as much as any forum is owned, and is more like a experiment in anarchy), the company that currently holds the IP for the Pencil and Paper RPG (*Sighs*  Think Dungeons and Dragons.  In the FUTURE!).  Admins are the folks you'd want to talk to about what is controlled and monitored here, as Critias stated before.

The Shadowrun video game forums were closed down in 2008 and sold to catalyst if I remember that tidbit of new from a few years back, so there's no official video game forum... If you don't have the game you should buy it used from a source that allows you to return used copies, like Gamestop, because the IP could be shutdown especially since they sold the forums so quickly after the game came out.

The Video Game IP has already been sold, and a Browser-Based MMO is being planned.
