Omar's van wheel whined on a sharp turn as he arrived at the cheap clothing shop. The drug store next corner offered slap patches. You recalled Ryker saying that he said he can't help the fatigue, you're feeling. The brain damages are curable with spells, but for the brain tired with frying you need to sleep. Just in case you bought threepack of stimpatches (300 yen). Meanwhile Mouse went to the clothes disposing machine. Along the order placed online a package with a cheap paper clothes was prepared and ready to be served as soon as the transfer was made (20 yen). Better clothes would have to be bought later, no time for it now. On the world watched via the Alice's commlink the AR star just went off and the homing signal/music died. Omar whizzed toward the place the fastest he could. Good it's already late night, as the traffic isn't interrupting you.
Kofee Klatch
You parked a block away to the south, near the parking lot, turning off the lights but not the engine. It looks fairly quiet, allowing your deviant minds devise where you would stake out if you were the mastermind behind these crimes and what would be your goal here.
Mouse was working on the Matrix. He already cut through the pathetic security of the coffehouse node, and uplinked you with a view from the three security cameras (two internal, and one on the street garden tables). Ryker is also around, he materialized briefly in the van when you around, to show you something interesting on the radar, that you probably would have noticed otherwise.
Kofee Klatch, is a late-night coffeehouse. From the Mouse's cameras perspective it looks like there is approximately 30 people sitting outside enjoying caffeinated concoctions. They all seem normal and happy people.
As pointed by Ryker, you see that the alleys around it are BUSTLING with life. Normally you'd assume, there are just few children around, or few lowlifes giving echo to the Omar's and Sam's radars, but after filtering the signal and tweaking it a bit to get a better picture you find literally dozens and dozens of squatters occupying them. Omar launched him flying drone to check this out and it quickly get the picture of some kind of homeless convention being held there. They seem to be sitting there, enjoying the company, listening to music and watching a thrown out trid set, that they have illegally linked to the electricity line.
Most of the ten cars parked in the area still have a driver and occasional passenger. They seem to be enjoying themselves as well, but waiting for something.
They don’t have to wait very long. A group of five people walks out from the Mercury Comet that parked in front of the building next to the Kofee Klatch. It’s an odd mix of different gang affiliated street punks. No guns are visible, though a few might be carrying some clubs or knives. One woman stands out from the group. She is nicely dressed; carrying a silvercolored walking stick.
Still watching the world through the AR program she becomes overlaid with chain mail and the stick becomes a sword. Above them in the Matrix, an icon appears looking like a winged version of the woman.
