Denver is good, and 500 sounds great. Will draw up a PC over the next couple of days and post him here so you can review him.  I still plan on muscle/Data carrier style PC.

500 BP - oh, christmass so early? (You had to be sure you can handle high profile characters)
If there is a consensus for it, Ill need to adjust my character for it...raising skills, attributes, buying more contacts and hardware...ooohhh such a pain...so Ill wait for your final word, Hell.

Are there still any open places left? I've got 2 ideas, am a newb with no PbP experience.

1. An ork ex-Aztlan soldier who is heavily cybered and suffers from PTSD (I think that's it called) and is saving up for a surgery. Combat monkey, good with firearms and experienced soldier with good gear, hunted by Aztlan though.

2. A legwork-loving hacker or 'mancer. Not sure which one yet, and not much of a background, but if it's Denver, I'll take a look at Spy Games and see if something fun springs to mind. He would be a character that hits Data Search on everything and everybody.

Good day, I am still good for the Denver shadow game. Working on a 400 and a 500 BP build for the same Type of PC.

Our group offers roughly 500BP for all player's in our group. But we put controls on the last 100- so we have players make 400BP, then we let them add +1 to their two lowest Attributes, 5 skills at level 1 with Specialization (these skills cannot be added too till after play begins) 25K for fake SIN, lifestyle, and Vehicle only, and 25BP in contacts. To get the Bonus the players need to come to the table with 20 questions filled out and if possible for their type of PC a portrait.  I have found these PC still function in there specialization, but have a more well-rounded feel to them. Another rule we have is no dump stat (no starting with 1 in any ATT.) unless it fits the Meta type.

Just my two cents on PC creation....but enjoy any and every type offered in the book.

@farothel - Which character would you like to play?

It depends on what there is in the group.  I have a good feel on all I mentioned, so I can take anything.  If there's no mage, I'll take my mage, otherwise one of the others.  As far as skills go, there's a quite large overlap between them.

I was considering trying a Free Spirit myself, just to do something different but that may not fit in with the campaign. What does 500 BP translate to in Karmagen? Or are we sticking with BP?

PC Creation guide:

Question on Cyber suites: if I take lone star suite or the Urban Kshatriya cyber suite can I take different components at different level (IE muscle replacement level 4)?

If PC takes Restricted gear can he Take adaspin?

Last if PC takes Genetic heritage quality can he take supra-thyroid gland?

That you're getting in way over your head. 

You mentioned a backup GM.  I could help you keep the rules and rolls straight if you like.  Combat is slow, so having a second hand to keep it moving is a good call.

I have for all characters a 400 BP version ready to go, so if I'm in, it's just a question of adding the 100 BP and to expand the background a bit.

Hehe yeah, in the end on my "Indiana Solo" wannabe I ended up adding the Drake quality to him.

Still haven't finalized what I want to do, but it seems we are lacking a Matrix specialist from those who have confirmed roles. I also wanted to try either the AI or Free Spirit types as they seem cool and different.

I can't really tell how many people you've got/want, but I'm definitely interested in playing if there is room. I havn't played in any PbP games on here so far and have been looking to get started in one. As for characters, I've got three that I could make fairly easily:

A.)  Lucky McGee -- Once a bouncer that turned into the typical street level enforcer and has now become a decent runner. A jack of all trades that is also great at hand-to-hand and Intimidation. Has a very high edge score to help out with his jack of all trades nature.

B.) The Tank -- A Troll street sam who's job is to provide cover for the other runners. Good at Infiltration and decent at picking/breaking locks as well as less subtle means of entering (read as demolitions) secured areas.

C.) Penguin -- An Ex-CAS SpecOps Scout skilled in Hacking, Interrogation, Infiltration, and Demolition.
