From what we know about the triads we might either pretend to be sent to check upon a silent alarm or a friend who can not reach a friend(guard) in the store. so that someone goes checking on them, might get us in that way, though no clue gathering, either way its way too hot in there for unarmored infiltration.

I've logged off of the mall node so they shouldn't be able to track me. Besides, I've located our friendly neighborhood squirrel agent with his pay data still intact.

GM: to get the pay data from the squirrel agent do I need to "attack" or crash the agent holding the data or is there another mechanism I can use? If I attack, I assume that I will trigger an alert on this node.

It would be nice to get there, but the risks are rather large, if you are willing to fight with me if it comes to that or wont hesitate to leave me if it get to hot then let's go, after we get the info we need.

P.s. you can ask snake for some software update for your comlink, you never know when it comes in handy to have.

To fake the sell you need to access the shop as priviledged user (security level) then it is a matter of edits in the files, that's why it is easy, but you need to first hack the node. on the current prviiledges you may legally buy the software from the shop

One clarification first - this is not a Squirrel agent - this is a Rabbit agent

There are few ways.
1. agressive one - kill the agent, and make a Software + Analyze test (3)
2. less agressive one - crash the browse program he is having, and make a Software + analyze test (3)
3. subvert one spoof the agent and ask him to hand over his data to you hacking + Spoof opposed with agent's pilot rating+pilots rating.
4. peaceful one - hack the security level of the node and see what the agent had done in the node and get the same results as he had got. No roll required other than hacking the node.

attacking doesn't necessarily trigger alert in the node.

I assume this is your second action. There is no need to roll anything, that's the basic operation on the files. (it is also a simple one).

no point, if it's not 5 or 6 the few seconds would not yield much difference, remember, i have to default, that means on Browser 4 i have just 3 dice, my chances succeed are slim. better then let Omar or Mouse on that, but the Prog's would be handy for a next time.

you dont have to hack the node to hack the guard commlink, they are completely separate.
