Mouse has some things he needs to attend to (he'll share with the group his intentions /w the exceptions on his special abilities and sprites):
During the interview; Mouse will run silent. No point in giving himself away to the KE.
If the group is willing to let him in on the team channel, great. If not then he will have to scan for their commlinks and setup a secure communication channel for which to communicate with them on. After all, most adults don't like it when kids ask pointed questions of them

At the moment, I am assuming that Mouse is not getting the commlink communications to the team. By the way, do you guys have a tac net?
He will do background checks for (unless the group feels any of this is unnecessary):
Vory v Zakone a Russian Mafia
Alice Jensen
Alice Jensen's boss (it's mentioned in the scream sheet and I'm being lazy)
Allen Ethland—guard
and if Dean was able to provide any useful information so he can verify the purchases Dean made and if the time stamps and triangualtion can place him somewhere other than the scene of the crime.
Corps: using any datahavens, blogs, libraries, news articles, etc Mouse knows about that could provide useful intel...
GenNex
Alamosa
(both were listed on Dean's rapsheet.)
...hiding his trail behind several proxy servers and other misc hack tricks.
The most time consuming task would be to check LuCom's node for surrounding nodes and "query" them for routed traffic to LuCom. That is also the most time sensitive.
I'll request/summon a Sleuth sprite to assist me...this is a lot of data.
Techno-bable comming up so correct me if i am wrong GM...
I would say that's its possible to get a sense of the surrounding nodes w/o actually being there because the nodes have to be within the signal strength of each other to know about their presence and I would say that it would be possible to get an idea of their physical location based on all the nodes that are in range (you can triangulate their position assuming they are visible by two other nodes.) But it's not going to be exact esp if a node is visible to only one other node, then where exactly is it? Also the signal strenght and landscape surrounding nodes can distort physical locations--these are wireless signals after all.
Techno-bable completed...
I am assume the group is awaiting me to work my magic (they can stop me at anytime it's not going to be secret) while at Dean's appartment. I'll spoof an access id and use stealth and at first monitor the node...i'm curious to seen if there is any remote chatter going on other than the typical from the local house devices. Unless there are some access ids with security or admin privlidges in the communication traffic (hey maybe i can acquire Dennis' access

) i will probably need to find an exploit.
since this is my first player controlled hack...what rolls do you need me to make?
Mouse will also want to register some sprites for some serious future hacking (that i think is about 8hrs per sprite if i remember correctly--fading notwithstanding.) so that will come when time permits.
