Ok. rereaded some pages back and found that part about cooperatikn on hacking.
Sad thing is, that to crash Analyze program Ill need to be in the same node as the program, or the icon that is running the program, is. So while we are just observing, we are outside, I cannot do anything. In this case, I can help Mouse to hack the node.
Being that your house rule, that I didnt catched, Ill just roll my dices to provide mouse with some support, and lets see if they get us fast enought:

Hacking(4)+Exploit(5/6)+FullVR(2) (12d6.hits(5)=4)

My Stealth, as stated and counted before, is 5(7).

Little confused...I have 3 IPs. That equates to 3 complex actions, right? For my first 3 attempts the system gets 3 detects, right? His first two did not breach my steath, but the third did. I did the hack so that should add to my successes, I just triggered the alarm in the process. So it should be one more complex action to finish the hack correct? 2+3+2+4.

I need some matrix expertise here (this is where character expertise exceeds that of player.)
What Mouse would do next depends on what he can and can't do.
What I would like to do is make this access id (the one that I am using) a decoy and assume the identity of another, before logging in. I didn't see any programs that allowed this, so a sprite perhaps (though I didn't see on specifically for that purpose)? And have it fake calling a sprite (as a call a tank sprite.)

If not that, then before I log in with the account that I hacked pass the data on to Omar, I'll be the decoy. He'll have to take it from here until I can get this intruder alert mess cleaned up. Which case I have a couple of complex actions left to take. I doubt stealth will continue to help me so I would drop it. Summon a tank sprite (5) and get busy. I would like to create an armor piercing complex form, but I don't know if you will allow it.

In any case: What is the most likely course of action in response to a security threat from a mall nexus? launch IC, spiders, reboot, etc

mouse, you should roll those 4 dices you should have in addition because of my help...IMO for every phase...maybe you can get some sucessess to breach without alarm. if the alarm goes on, we eed to crash that analyze - that will in fact blind the nodes ...hey I cant see my writings...what the fuck happened to forums

the only house rule is that it is your stealth being used. the rest is the way i've been doing teamwork tests always. anyway based on the roll. snake got four more dices to his every roll and the node gets target if seven.

snake. basicaly yes you'll got in with the alarms on. make three rolls for additional four dices that Omar has provided you.

I'd also suggest you to spend the edge on rerolling misses as a chance to go into without ringing bells.

as a side note using edge to hack into secured node (ratings of five are a very good security, and fairly cheap to that) is an advisable approach - it is always better to burn the edge on entrance that to burn it in combat.

failing the unnoticed entry spoofing your acces-id with a sprite is an excellent idea, but you need another clean access-id to login to the nide. there is very little you can do in the node once the alarm is rang. you'll need to hack your each action with a firewall having bonus against you. the best approach would be to fall back find some access-id spoof it and try again. crashing the analyze program will give you sime time but reload it is a simple action for the residing hacker.
