Inside the node Mouse was looking around. Immediately after the alarm two security hackers were scrambled fully loaded with offensive software. They are sculpted like the Shaolin Monks assuming battle stances. There are two IC present sculpted like a ghosts or spirits of air. Closer inspection would be needed to identify their purpose and loaded software.

You got five combat turns (15 complex actions) breathing space before they'll find out it was two of you hacking in. they will know so after the access log will be updated. until that you expect them to run trace on Omar and sniff around to see if he managed to do any damage before he left

1. The trace is already being written. The reason they don't yet know about two entrances is that there is massive amount of data being logged every second, and the browsing tools need dome time to process it. to remove it from the access log you'd need write access to the access log and for that you'd need admin priviledges.

3. one complex action to create the account (mind that it would be logged in the access log that this account was created by your access-id). one more to find security hacker access id in the current priviledges table, one more complex action to spoof log in command.

It is  because of number 5 that I thought I already had security privileges to Red Wire node--not user privileges. I had been spending edge to get the security privilege because I didn't realize at the time that I could continue to hack to upgrade my account permissions.

Not really, that depend on settings. Here they are set so you can log in like snake into the node and get access to the peripherals. To get shop priviledges you need to hack them for yourself.

as for the hacker's medic program, they keep subscriptions in both nodes, if you crash it in one, it will be crashed in other as well. (you crash it at their commlinks)

Yup...but Blackhammer I can use against flesh its useless against IC and sprites, but designed to kill humans in matrix. Attack, on the other side, I needed to be able to fight against IC. other parts of that Suite is mostly obsolette for me, I have better ratings of those programs...
