Yep - it is a sprite - you'd need to make matrix perception to be sure, but you can make an educated guess.

Hmm, I was just pointed to the example, after I couldn't find that myself. and it seems you're right. damage is increased by net hits.
Since we've been playing last few runs and we are in the middle of the combat with my rule, I'm going to keep it until the end of the game or at least until end of this combat. (meaning that the first hit is 'consumed' on hitting), I don't want to go through the posts to see if damages could been other than they were accounted for.

But I stand corrected for any future references.

The way I imagined it (sorry if that wasn't described properly) is that she is running, at first, she started from behind that car to the alley, when the dumpshock hit her, and she faltered, had to support herself with the hands. She saw you running after her and while she kept one of her hands to her temple she run two more steps, and that's when you got to her, shot at her. She tried to dodge, tripped, and now she is tumbling in front of you.

Omar hasn been born yesterday. the kind of feats this 'agent' is doing would require military or triple a corp laboratory software. at the same time you know about technomancers and their sprites.

I just wander where is its node. It isnt that there is just resonance being standing in the middle of the street...the only place you may encounter it is inside a node, not outside...in matrix, there is nothing outside nodes. On the other side, I like this scene. In my runs resonance beings sometimes leap out to physical world. Like materialized spirits. Also quite funny. Not RAW but hell yeah. They usually got killed. By runners. With S`n`S ammo, EMP grenades and HREF guns, because they find out how to deal with this kind of threat

it has subnodes for each sector
they in turn have subnodes for each district

they all are public access places for restaurant to put their aros
for grid to sublink their traffic light peripherals
for car to login to check weather conditions
and for strangers to setup ad hoc networks
