Ok i'll let Onion Man reply to my original post
It looks like we'd be in two different spots in the timeline again if we do that. Not by as much time as before, but still...
If it's cool with everyone else, I'd rather keep the out of timeline argument in here and just let the in character timeline move on with the knowledge that Nameless and Pig argue before the whole crew moved on to doping and loading the tiger. I'm pretty adamant in that I don't want to come to rolls with Nameless (especially at this moment, where things would get loud and it could end poorly for everyone instead of just one of us).
Anyway, I'm just waking up but I know I see Chrona in the online list pretty often. If he's game for having the argument in here instead of there I'll post up after I get back from scouting a new FLGS as a likely spot to run some Missions.
Crux of Pig's argument: A fried optical recording unit is more sanitary than a deleted file, it's faster and easier to disconnect the fractal antenna than it is to disable a commlink via the matrix (same for weapons, which I'm actually good at instead of just, meh, with advancement potential), and there's no way he's about to count on some relative stranger (who's only filling in as a hacker anyway) to cover his trail when he can do it himself and know it's done and done.
He can live without recycling the scene through the black market (though metagame wise I think it's a poor decision not to move movable goods when we started with heavy gear restrictions), but leaving things to luck and circumstance is way too out of character for him. Bodies only stay down until they're revived, witnesses left by the roadside are more of a liability than witnesses left tied up in a broom closet, and with a little knowledge of gang signage and a little skill in Artisan, KE will go looking whatever direction we want them to without any significant forensic labwork if we stay in control of the scene.
