So how do you go about buying ammo for the Ares S-III Super Squirt?  It makes sense that you would have to buy a dose of whatever toxin/drug you want for each shot.  However what type of ammo do you load in the thing?  Regular ammo, gel rounds?  I can see the capsule rounds in arsenal along with dmso in the chemistry section.  Yet if you have to buy those for the super squirt what is the point of the weapon?

Uhm . . the Super Squirt is basically a weaponized Super Soaker Water-Gun O.o
You mix the drug with Gamma-Scopolamine or DMSO or which ever made all stuff contact vector.
Then you fill the "clip"/"magazine"(Tank) of the Gun with it and go Bukkakke all over your enemies . .

Okay, the reason I had asked was, "This popular non-lethal weapon fires DMSO gel packs that can..."  So it didn't sound like an actual water gun.

The gel pack is not the same as a gel round

It's just a semi-solid Jello-like substance which contains DMSO and whatever other drug you want to deliver.

The reason the ammo described as such is that a pure liquid 'bullet' would have incredibly limited range, whereas the Supersquirt is still pretty good for it's weapon type.

I also find it amusing they reference dmso in it, when you didn't get it until arsenal.  Okay, I'm good to go.  Just wanted to be sure on it all, was going to pick one up for a face character as a less than lethal option.  Once again I appreciate the help.

I always imagined it to be like a snot gun.

Two tanks, one for jellied DMSO, one for the drug. The gun mixes a dose of the two just before launching the snotball with compressed air.

To use a acid ammo it would take a gun mode to handle the acid or the acid would start eating out the seals surely.

Not at all. The Gel paks act like Capsule rounds, and will hold any chemical deemed appropriate by the GM.

Standard SR4 guns don't require mods to fire Acid Capsule rounds, so neither does the Super-squirt.
