Najateh choose to ignore this and wait for the Johnson to reply to her questions.  At least he would understand the reason for her questions, at least if he was what he said he was.

Boosts tried to stop her disapproving grimace at the drek coming from Oni and Rafa's mouth, but failed.  She kicked herself for showing her emotions.   These fools were were making them look stupid in front of the Johnson, talking about killing the one thing they were not supposed to kill, cracking stupid jokes at each other.  These two seemed like they were straight Matchbox.   She was itching to get going too, who the hell cared what the tiger weighed, right? Still Najateh had earned them some bumps of Cram and spoke like she knew what she was doing, so Boosts was going to give her a bit more of time.

"Hurry it up, girl,"she thought.

The dwarf pulls another commlink from his pocket and after a moment the toss away on the table beeps.
"There, you have an entire medical file on Tinks, accurate to last week. It gives the maximum safe dosage for most well known tranquilizers as well. If you get close enough to the Tiger, it's chip will read onto the link with updates that have occurred recently. She has no known allergies and is not awakened. If she dies, I WILL NOT pay you."

The dwarf pockets his commlink and looks at an old pocket watch, "Well if that's all agreeable, I must be going. You can reach me on the commlink with any additional questions."

As the Johnson walks away, Pig thumbs away at his commlink briefly before looking around the booth once more.

@Mari: What can you tell me about Brinson, Brenson, or Brinsine Security?  Whichever one of them has the security contract at the Redmond Zoo.

Do we know anyone friendly on the inside there?

  --Pig
(I'll leave the dice rolls to you for this Crash, Mari is the former owner of Marigold Security and a now retired spider, stats and skills at your discretion).

"Okay, stunbolt," he says in the direction of Doc Uzi, "Can you do us all a quick favor and do an astral fly by of the zoo?  I'm not buying this 'No mystic security' claim and want a second opinion before we get too committed to any one plan.  If you can get close enough, take a good look at the fence, the cameras, the sec team, whatever you can get your eyes on."

Reaching into his jacket, Pig pulls out his trusty Crusader, and switches clips out before placing it back into the shoulder holster it clearly came out of, never stopping his comments but shifting to a more general address to the group.

"I don't much like the idea of trying to go in through the front gate.  The map we've been provided clearly shows pylons at the main gate, probably to prevent any fool roaming ganger from driving right into a crowd of looky Lous, but our other points of ingress don't look all too promising either.  If that service road is loaded with cameras it'll make a better route for a fast escape than it will for a blitz entry, and this grounds path probably wouldn't be able to handle my truck's weight, for sure not with the armory still in the bed.

If we can get me and a smooth talker in through the front door on a fake service call for one of their cams, pumps, fences, whatever the excuse needs to be, we can probably interrupt the security long enough for the rest to blitz up that service road or in along the grounds path.  Maybe three if someone wants to try to hide in the back, but more than that and it won't look like a service crew coming in first thing in the morning.

Knight Errant is most likely to be out of the area and busy at shift briefings and such around..."

Logic + Knight Errant Procedures = 1

...and here's why I took 6 edge on this character, rerolling failures with edge...

Logic + Knight Errant Procedures - 1 hit from previous roll = 4

5 total hits, I'll assume I can peg down the right time-window for us to go in during.

"... 2:30 and 3:15 in the morning, then again after the morning donut rush and morning briefings.  It'll be a bit tricky to land right on the nail with the little gap between the donut run and briefings, but if we can plan on getting in around 7:30 we can count on the Knights being too busy to respond when things really start going down"

Check the OOC board for the legwork result about times and such.

With the Johnson gone, Boosts visibly relaxes.  Reaching into the front pocket of jumpsuit she takes out a crumpled pack of cigarettes. After tapping a smoke out a smoke, she lights it and takes a long drag.  If there Pig has any donuts (and they are in reach), she'll grab one without asking, flashing him her most winning smile and giving a wink.  Eating and smoking she moves her hands around, turning and twisting the map in AR.

"The city is doing work on the main road leading up to the zoo, most of the cameras and GridGuide are drek (OOC I'm assuming if they are tearing up the road GridGuide would be messed up as well, please correct me if I'm wrong and I'll edit) "I'm liking the two way entry.  If a few people could get in, the rest could  drive onto that baseball field as a city ground's crew - tree trimming, checking trees for acid rain damage.  Explains the vans, eh? When we go blitz, the vans just drive up the service road. Maybe that can be the distraction, you know?  Drivers act like they thought it was a shortcut because the GridGuide is all messed up.  I also might - might - be able to spoof the cameras. I'm no hacker, but I have some experience with security systems - especially if I can get an Access ID.

Boosts notices that she has ignored her smoke while talking, an inch of ash sticking out from the quickly dying cherry.  She stubs it out in one of the many cracked plastic ashtrays around the table and she starts another one.

"Yeah, was planning on some astral recon after the meet. Which I guess is 'now'." Doc mutters. "If there really isn't any security, we can do this tonight if you're all up for it. A Spirit can down the security guy watching the cams quite easily, and non-lethally... But I don't buy this no magic backup stuff."

Reluctant to leave his body helpless in a room full of strangers, Doc Uzi gives everyone his public commcode. He finds a comfortable spot and projects astrally and heads over to the zoo.

"I do not like this blitz talk. If we've done our jobs we can leave as calmly as we enter. I like the plan of Talking your way in. If I hide in the vehicle I can sneak out while you do your fake service call. I can rendezvous with Doc's spirit and take down the guards with it, and unlike the spirit I can take down physical locks on the way to allow you entry.

"The who does the talking? As I understode, all this area is Zoo property, so why would an external team be there instead of their own gardeners?

And by the way, got you "
Oni looks back at Doc Uzi "... args, stupid mage. I was asking if he can check out the river at the north edge of the zoo."
Oni remembered a robbery into an old warehouse with his old gang where they walked all the way through the sewers to get in. Wasn't a nice smell though, but on the other side the gang who was hidding in the building never saw them coming.

I think zoo property ends at the tree line, but I could be wrong. If I am we don't do a second team as a work crew

(OOC: Some clarification on the line of property ownership)

"Isn't the place still under construction?  Maybe we go under as parts/materials delivery. If we go in that way, we're gonna need a bigger truck. Also, speaking of construction - any idea when the rest of the workers might show up to the grounds?

Boosts rolled her shoulders, stretching her back and neck, as she thought about what Lady Burn might have at short notice.

"I'm not an expert on bypassing security, but get me within shooting distance of the tiger and it's asleep for exactly the right amount of time," Critter said as she skimmed over the medical file the Johnson had given her, "I might also have an idea on getting the tiger out once we shoot it.  Do one of you have a van or pick-up truck with chameleon Coating?"

She had wanted that for some time, but it was so bloody expensive.

"I'm going to take Tinks out with slab," She added, "Makes it look like it's dead.  We simply load it in a truck belonging to a company that clears away dead animals and drive it out."

From the medical records she gathered she would need a double dose of slab.  Double for humans that is.  That should keep Tinks asleep for a couple of hours.  She also took this opportunity to have a quick look on her collegues on the astral.

"Tell you what, while you guys build up the nerve to get started, I'll go have a look at the place in the flesh, okay?"
He finishes his beer with a big gulp -you're amazed he's got the social skills not to burp loudly and with pride-, turns around and walks out to his bike. His tires burn rubber as he takes off.

"I'm heading there too, here's my commcode."

No one saw him leave the room or building, it'd take him longer to get near by cab then walk.

When the two going to leave, Oni thinks about doing the same, but on the other side, why should he? The two of them should be enough to take a good look at the zoo, plus the mage who should be around there by now. "Hey Rafa, can you take also a look at the construction side of the road, if there are some heavy maschines? Something big enough to move over this pillons at the main gate? Just a minute guys, just take another bottle of this stuff here...
Oni quickly went to the bar and comes back with a new bottle of beer.

The idea with the construction team is far better than gardeners or veterinarians, both are personal the zoo will most likely have themself. To be true most of us look more like butchers than like doctors, maybe expect of Doc Uzi there Oni points at the mage. Problem is that those construction stuff usually is delivered in shinny daylight and stealing a tiger is something more dark as ass biz. Oni looks at the map again Do you guys think the electricity line for the zoo goes under the road near the construction area? We can try to shut the whole building down.

Remembering Critters question Sry man, but I'm no freaking Kroesus, just a bike outside. If you know so much about critters, how would the zoo personal transport the tiger, we can steal a truck or so from them,... after we are in of course.

"I'll have a look in the medical file," Critter said while doing so, "often a zoo has a vet, but they don't have all the specialists, like dentists.  Those are often shared between zoos, or are at a university and consult on difficult cases.  We can pretend to be from one of them and there is a problem with the tiger.  Just need a van in the correct colours, drive in, say there's a problem... Probably do it right after the vets change shifts.  I tranq the animal and we take it out.  We will just need some IDs and prefably a log file from the off-duty crew to support us."

Having brought in animals for a zoo before, she knew a bit about the procedures and she looked though the medical file for those specialists.  If they have any, they should be in the file somewhere.
