For the UWB perception you usualy use UWB rating instead of Visual enhancement rating IMO. Id roll two different rolls: Visual and Radar.

Nah, the radar's rating only matters for how much material it can get through.  Since it uses ultrasound rules, it's just basic perception.  And since ultrasound is a visual enhancement, it's up in the air whether it benefits from the vision enhancement, um, vision enhancement.  IF it doesn't, does that mean that lowlight and thermal don't benefit from it either?  It's a weird rules conundrum.  Honestly, it's a little thin, rules-wise.  In fact, Radar cyberware doesn't even require an image link...

Yes, it didnt require Image link because IMO it is 360° degree field of vision radar placed inside your head as completely new sense. It even isn`t part of cybereye implant, it is piece of headware...but its not my call in this game to solve this...

damn, that place is a wreck and half! I'm not even sure what to look for at this point. we've got serious evidence of a struggle/fight between the shot up fridge, and the char marks all over indicate to me (metagaming) that fire and water i'm guessing from a spirits has been used inside. that leaves a few paths for things that could have gone down. possibility 1: If it was yaks my guess is they where the ones with the big guns. came in through the balcony windows and kicked off the party. They wouldn't bring in magic users so my bet is the spirits are from someone else. possibility 2: A mixed team of shadow runners, got called in to frag her, mix heavy weapons (assault cannon) and at least one magic user with offensive spells or spirits to come in and take her out. Possibility 3: This place is a well staged distraction and it's a bunch of bad leads. :possibility 4: Something I haven't thought of. where do you guys think we should start?

Wish Im there, autopsy of the body should reveal a lot, but we can possibly done it via AR bridge if someone would look and touch for me..(damn I dont have simrig, that would be perfect for this situation IMO

There must be lot of evidence, if the atack was Magical...traces of the spirits you mentioned is IMO good gues, also look for things that meay have been used for ritual spellcasting or something like that. Balcony ETC...exit/enter points are broken? I didnt recall that fact...possible more traces? And IMO that lock youve been passing gave up quite easy...

I agree, it feels like there is a lot missing to this aftermath... I can't imagine that someone would bother to drag that body up stairs and set it up with a rose after getting attacked, and I can't see a team of runners leaving anyone that could be traced to them behind either. That body means something, but what? the rose could mean they were a lover, dear friend, family even. I'm now more suspicious of her old fixer/boyfriend than i was before. i think he still knows something but that's me leaping at straws. what about the little details? The way the dining area was set up, two plates and silverware ready to go with the table set up for a (romantic?) dinner. the CHN being completely offline and the building staff not knowing about it. I'm going to check out the windows and see if I can find anything leading to where they started from. If it's possible for the apartment to be cut off from the network like this in one spot it's possible anywhere in the building. At least thats my guess. I'll wait to get started till after Kontact and Ethan throw in on what they make of this mess.

Hmm..a little brainstorming of my own...

Wall in the shower...hit by the fire(ball, bolt or some kind of other fire attack or heavy weapon (well no further damage? Just the fridge)? What was the atackers position?)
Is it possible that someone tried to extinguish fire on something/someone using the shower for this purpose?
Fridge - possible cover? Again - position of the atacker? Defender? Doors used as an improvised cover?
Milk...how long it is spilled? IMO when this all happens? If U dont know exactly, take some samples, Ill make anylysis in my chemistry lab. In fact...take any samples you thnk are interesting or important, Ill run analysis for all of them...
That part about drone I didnt understand well, my english...what is "busy body drone"? And about that camera...does it mean that there are sparks still, or that sparks ignited something...or sparks ignite is the phrase that says that there are ocasional electric sparks (really srry:)

Where the fire begins?Alarms off, CHN down...no, this doesnt look like an accident, even if the victim is Kiku father who was suffering from illnesses of the high age and such people may be dangerous to themselves...but we still dont know whom the body belongs to...

Does the water came from rain? Or were there really two materialized spirits engaged in the combat? (very low level of other damage, furniture is just wet, not torn apart...??)

A couple of answers,
Yes char means ash.

The balcony on the second floor was glass and was shattered as if something went though it and fell into the living room from the bedroom. Not the outside balcony which seems to be intact.

The camera is sparking sporadically showing that it has been damaged.

The busy buddy drone came from runners companion under advanced lifestyles and is a standard house cleaning drone. It seems to be malfunctioning.

Dishes where rinsed off but are still in the sink waiting to be cleaned as if someone did a quick cleanup after dinner but did not wash the dishes.

Yes there was no alarm the CHN is down and the security in the building doesn't seem to know it.
