Kontact, could you have BB trace that cabbie's ID?  That's the last errand Operator needs to handle before he's ready to leave to Denver.

His pirated Track program has degraded to 0, so that's not looking too hot.  How about hacking in and checking his GPS history?

Snooping on his GPS history is perfectly acceptable.

Browsing grid guide is also an option.

Do we recognize the men waiting for us? is the man at the door's comm code open? I would like to judge the intentions of all 3 and pull a perception check as well.

You don't recognize them. You can get the code with a matrix perception test. They seem to want you to get in the car and if you don't you think they will get violent. Yes you may make a perception test.

you both notice that the three Japanese individuals seem a bit jerky in there movements, as if they are wired. they are all carrying pistols of some sort under their coats and they are wearing form fitting armor.  You also notice that there is someone sitting in the cars back seat.

Millimeter wave radar is a cyberware scanner.  It should not only list any standard grade cyberware and weapons, it should give their model numbers.

Anyway, this older Japanese man, would I be able to pull up a picture of the Sotozumi Gumi and compare it to the man in front of us?  I wouldn't want to tell this man anything if he isn't who he says he is, and if he is who he says he is, then this would not be what I expect.

I say we flat out lie our asses off to him. Con him saying we were previous associates in the business his daughter had been in. worked once together, but parted afterward. we'd heard that she was in trouble and came looking, found nothing good and don't plan on getting further involved because we don't need the trouble if she's already gone. Just looking to confirm rumors. we can pull a team work test all our social pools thrown together and hopefully bluff our way out of this shit storm. what do you say guys?

I would approve of that approach. There's no evidence suggesting that Shotozumi would let us off the hook by being completely honest, and it would embarrass Kanaga.

Talking about hook, I hope we werent just a bait to get Shotozumi somewhere with enought strangers around him that would be easz to blame them...even if thez manage to survive the ambush. Just hope that there is no sniper/rocket ambush squad on surrounding rooftops...
