My assumption is that the rose was from the dinner.  Probably and empty vase down there.  So, it's not an assassin's signature or something like that... probably.  The body being male or female should be easy enough to suss out.  Could scan the body with the radar and send the images back to Nina.  Angle of the pelvis should make it obvious.  I'm assuming now that it's a gent since that was her preference.

We will need some biological samples to get info on the victim. Also the easiest way is to check the visitors log on the reception or do it by the legwork. We need to be sure that the body is not her father.
The nature of damage in the kitchen should reveal some facts about what happened here...
Ill post the medical roll for guiding the examination of the body, we shall see if there is more to be discovered...did he died by the electriciřty or by the fire? Age? Health state and level of care (wellness, regular medical examinations, healing processess in the past, injuries etc...) before he died...
There is an option that Kiku turned off the security system on her own to hide this event...or that it has been shut down before this happened...
Since there is a trace of electrical damage, that would mean Air spirit...and since there is very high background count in the apartement, it wasnt easy to summon spirit powerfull enought to do this.
So there are three possible elemental effects in use: Air, Water, Fire...

While tracing the ID of Kiku's cab and getting answers from the driver might not be worth the time, it serves as additional evidence to support any claims of Kiku bailing out of town. I get the feeling we will have to pursue her to Denver, but there is at least one more trail to follow - the magical presence.

Red, did Mr. Johnson explicitly forbid the runners from going to Kiku's penthouse? Or did he only mention that they (Yakuza) could not provide access by reason of avoiding all signs/appearances of involvement?

Hell, Next time Ill take my time and create my contacts more viable right on the character creation, at least some names etc, I like the way Operator has it done, it is much nicer when you adress someone by the name, not simply Contact (Sorry Kontact, I didnt mean to ...ah...forget it )
At least I wont need to create part of the background story every time new contact comes to play...

So, should I roll perception to see if there's anyone in the hall, or can I just assume that there isn't and we can clear out?  My thought was move on out of the apartment quickly and get the kit together to jump to Denver.
