Switch moves into the crowd, his movements semi-spastic as he starts to dance. He glances around, his eye lingering a bit on some of the stores.  Yelling out to Ghost: "Eh?"  He looks around again before he goes back to dancing, moving with even less grace.

Jink tries his luck as Switchback's wingman, also rather spasmodic in his dance moves, but somehow convinced he can dance just as well as the new kids. Twisting in time to the beat, he nods and gyrates next to the hottest chicks he can find, not fussed as to ethnicity or metatype, although he is a bit leery of troll woman might snap him like a twig.

"We should of come here sooner, eh," he declares to his team mates nearby, winking mischievously.

Engaging the closest female who doesn't immediately recoil, Jink fires off his standard opening line.... "Hey chica, you like combat biker?"

As the game begins, Jink recalls his debacle with Clean Steve and quickly fires off a message <Jink@CleanSteve: I confirmed my debt to you. I'll pay. Message me the details Mr Steve.>

Glancing around the dance area, Jink tries to keep at least one eye, some of the time, on the look out for hostiles...

At the mall entrance the massive troll bouncer gives you the once over before nodding and signaling that you're free to go inside.  You notice as you pass that his loin cloth is actually riveted into the dermal plates his skin.  Leaning on the wall next to him is what looks like a giant claymore made out of a beaten-flat signpost, roughly sharpened with concrete.  A good reminder that these people were drugged-out Barrens gangers.

Switch figures that there are some easy to recognize patterns in the groups sitting around the emptied-out food court.  Their clothing identified them well enough as separate gangs.  Their members would would intermingle some on the dance floor, but they all sat off in different areas.  The Legion's colors would likely be easy enough to recognize from the trid if he just cruised around the place long enough to find what was left of them.

Meanwhile, Jink's flirting was making a little progress on the dance floor. "Bikes, hunh?  So you like to ride?"
From the matrix came Steve's relpy. <<Steven@Jink:  I suppose I can understand your caution at not taking me at my word, but I can assure you, my word is good.  As to the payment of your debt, that is something we can work out at a more reasonable hour and in better circumstances.  In a related vein, you mentioned something about a recording.  I assume that you acquired this recording after our first meeting since you didn't seem prepared for my presence in that encounter.  Would you be willing to tell me from whom you received it?  I would be grateful.  After all, I'm sure you could relate.  If someone were to sell damaging information about you, to those who don't have your interests in mind, you would also be upset by this, yes?>>

Ghost doesn't have much trouble following an ARO from his comm over to his little pal Slugger is sitting with the rest of the Block Knockers, a 3rd rate crew from northern Puyallup.  They were sitting around, about 20 strong and chatting boisterously.  They seemed to be more the synthanol type than the betameth or eX heads throwing themselves around on the dancefloor.  Their insigina of a square with a bat over top of it was emblazoned on some of their clothes digitally or with a patch.  Slugger waved Ghost over.  "Hey, there's the guy!  I was wondering if you'd show!  You thirsty?  Because I am!  Mind setting a guy up?"

No problem brah, whadya drinking?  Ghost goes to grab a drink of Slugger's choice from the nearest vendor without ordering anything for himself.  Probably don't have any green tea here he though to himself.  He brings the drink over to Slugger, Nice party you got going here. How are thing going for you?  Sorry to bring business into it but I'm a little under the gun.  I need to meet anyone who might have known Breaker well.  I know he had a girlfriend so maybe we could start with her.  I'm looking for an item he might have had.  Anyone who helps me might assist in getting some revenge on the people behind the Iron Legion massacre if that's any incentive.

Slugger takes the drink and tips his hat in thanks before responding to Ghost's statement about the Legion. "Ha!  Even boosters like the Hellhounds are toasting the Legion getting jacked up.  Don't know who they pissed off that had the money to hire a big lector like You Know Who, but the Legion's idea of a good time was to kick in the door of a pregnant Trog and unload a shotgun into her stomach."  Slugger turns his head and spits.  "Legion's a stuck pig now.  Once the Blitz breaks up, Half the crews in here will move to bleed them off, so they're hiding under the skirts of the Troll Killers for as long as they'll let them.  You can spot them by the north entrance." He points with his eyes.  "Baldur wouldn't let them through his door." Slugger grins and nods back the direction the group came in.

"Thanks Slugger.  I'll hit you up with a little taste when I finish this job.  See ya back at the hood."  Ghost heads through the crowd tries to catch the eye of Switch and Jink on the dance floor and gives them a follow me nod.  He then heads to the entrance where the Iron Legion are to see who's there.

Gathered around the food vendors north of the dance floor is a sea of well-armed thugs, most of whom seem too serious for a party.  Past the line of them, on the far side of the booths are six guys in leathers and chains standing in front of a Mister Crunchy sandwich shop.  The blue NoPaint on their faces and arms marks them with Legion crosses, just like the guys from the trideo.

The whole scene is one of latent hostility.

(ooc: apologies for the slow posting, was at Origins)
Sundance trails behind Ghost, watching the crowd, letting the others do the talking while keeping an eye open for more trouble.

What a bunch of trash. At least we should be able to get some answers.

Seeing Ghost approaching the Legion, Sundance tensed up in anticipation of a possible confrontation.

These two-bit punks look like trouble.

<<Sundance@Ghost: I have your back if these guys want a fight.

Catching Ghost's nod, Switch follows him over through the crowd.

"Here goes nothing" Ghost thinks to himself.  He slowly walks over to the guys in the blue paint.  "Hello gentlemen, enjoying the party?"

Switchback follows behind Ghost, still attempting to dance.  "Who doesn't love to party?"

Ghost managed to walk through the line of hardcore "humanists" walling off the food stands with nothing more than a few hard looks and a couple shoulder shoves, but the Troll Killers formed up as Switchback approached.  It turns out that Orks aren't welcome in their hang.

The remaining Legionaries were easily ten times as cagey as the TKs though.  They responded to Ghost's approach by puffing themselves up as best they could.  One guy, bigger than the others moved to the front and addressed Ghost harshly.  "Is that a fraggin joke, scrub?"  He looked at Ghost like he was imagining all sorts of nasty things to do to the young mage's head and face.  "The hell are you selling?"

"Well, I'm not exactly a salesmen.  I could use your help though.  As it turns out one of my associates was friends with Breaker.  I was grieved to hear about his demise.  I was hoping you might be able to introduce me to some of his closer friends in your club.  I also like to mention that helping me might put the corp behind your scuffle earlier in a very compromising position."
