commlink@Ghost, Switchback, Yuri: Might have someone headed our way, chummers. Too good looking to be a regular, eh. I'll keep my eye on him. Switch if you find that walking stick out back grab it for me, eh? I can tag erase no problem Yuri, si?

Jink closes the entry door and connects to the wagon via his 'link. Engaging it's sensors, an AR window pops up to the left of his field vision, tracking the blond man as he struts down the street. Umberto offers the video feed to anyone who wants it.  Well he got style, I give him that, Umberto concedes as he smooths out his own duster. Hmm maybe my size, even?

[OOC: Sensor (camera) + Perception + active looking at man to spot any weapons or anything interesting... AR Sensor check (13d6.hits(5)=3)]

@Jink  Can you zoom in on his face?  Maybe someone will recognize him.

Zooming was not necessary.  By this point, the man had made it up to the Rover and flashed a smile at the right rear window, picking a little piece of vegetable out of his teeth.  Jink recognized him immediately, and a bit of color drained out of his face.  That was Clean Steve.

You had a marker out in this town, his was the face you'd have nightmares about.  Word was, Steve was so good that he once capped a Mafia Lieutenant for the Yakuza and then got hired by the Mafia the next day to take care of the retaliation.  In the near distance, Jink managed to pick up a trace of movement: a figure darting through the shadows somewhere back in Steve's wake.

@team  Two things guys.  Found Vanian's home address.  And there is a back door here in case we wanna sneak out.  I'm going to check this dude out coming our way. How much time is left on that bomb?  Maybe I can help.

Ghost takes the letter and stuffs it in his jacket, looks for a clean spot on the floor next to the wall and sits down.  His conscious leaves his body again for the astral plane.  He moves to the front of the building where he sees Jinks presence.  He then looks down the street to see what's coming towards them.

Upon seeing the bomb, time seems slow down for Johnny, the counting down of the seconds on the digital clock making an almost deafening BEEP, BEEP, BEEP.  It is only when Mary comes over that he struggles to bring himself back together.

Composure Test at seeing the bomb. 9d6.hits=4

"Huh, so that is a bomb," he says, looking at the explosive. Then like rabbit sprung from his cage, he'll snatch up the com and the bag of programs, and start moving quicksilver fast through the other rooms.  He'll search each room for no more than five minutes a piece.
[OOC: I don't know what modifiers you want to apply to these searches but I'll just roll them all normally.]

Office: Intuition 4 + Visual Perception 5 + Vision Enhancement 3 + Actively Searching 3 15d6.hits=8

Storage Room: Intuition 4 + Visual Perception 5 + Vision Enhancement 3 + Actively Searching 3 15d6.hits=8

In the middle of searching his com beeps, the message icon swirling. Thankful that his powers allow him to split his attention he shoots back a message.

@ Ghost "Oh, about 12 minutes would be my guess. We're still here though."

@Team:  Jink?  Are you fraggin' with the feed or is that who I think it is?  As much as I'd like the extra cred from snatching this gear, I believe it's time we think about leaving this place.

Switchback looks down at Ghost slumped against the wall before looking back at the door.  It's never easy, is it.

@Mary: Watch your back, looks like we might have some trouble down here.

Yuri finishes with the wires as the feed comes in from Jink. Huh, he's kinda cute.  Got the rest of these worried though, whoever it is...

"I'm done here I think.  Whoever went through already grabbed all the data that was here.  Looks like there might be some off-site backups, but without the nexus here I've got nothing to start tracing off of.  If you chummers are through, I'm all for heading out before Handsome McScaryman stops by to say 'Hello'"

Ghost peaked out at the man coming down the street.  He seemed in good spirits, extremely healthy, unaugmented, and non-awakened.  Behind him, for a fraction of a second, flitted another shape in the shadows, this one seemed to be on edge and most probably augmented.

By this time, he was halfway down the block from Vanian's front entrance.

Tossing Neil's office turned up a number of personal effects but very little business info.  It would seem that he was a bit deeper into the shadows than Alpha Blue had suspected if he wasn't keeping client records.  There was a picture of him and Blue in a holoframe on his desk.  It must have been taken before a few cosmetic mods, but it was definitely her.  Strewn across the desk, and on the cabinets were a number of little robots capable of preforming a repetitive action when triggered.  Inside the desk, there were a set of Baoding balls in a case (which probably didn't get much use except to house an emergency credstick,) a Hammerli 620s that most definitely didn't get much use (or care,) and an almost full box of 9mm caseless rounds.  Beneath the desk, Johnny found Neil's Nexus, bolted to the floor.  The man loved his 'tronix and certainly didn't get out much.  A sentiment backed up by the near constant chatter of his office node's personality program.

The store room was full of cleaning supplies and half-finished projects.  Looking through one of the cabinets, Johnny noticed that it seemed a bit smaller on the inside than he would have expected.  A quick search produced a false back, behind which sat a number of electronic devices including a makeshift remote weapons platform, handheld UWB Radar scanner, and a cluster of 8 Novatech Airware links all wired together and bound in a hollowed-out book.

All-in-all, there didn't seem to be any physical evidence of Neil's dealings with Multitech.

While all this searching was going on, Mary heard the elevator ding and saw a man get off and begin walking their way.  He certainly didn't have a threatening air about him, and he was carrying a box with both his hands, but his intentions were still unclear.
Across town Ghost received a telepathic message from his watcher spirit in Gibson Hall.  "Hey!  Hey!  There's a guy in the Hall!  I'm telling you like you told me to tell you!"

As Johnny went along he grabbed up all the easily carried objects: shoving the smaller things into pockets (the credstick, the handheld scanner), he stuck the Hammerli into his waistband, so the butt of the gun was in the small of his back.  He scooped up the holoframe and the hollowed-out book, joining the leather case and Erika Elite he was already carrying, shoving them under an arm.  He gave the Nexi one sad look, if only he had brought his welder, if only there were time.  He stopped to throw on his coat, thinking it better that Mary stay invisible.

" Mary, time to jet.  Stay cloaked and watch our backs."

Finally, Johnny will pull up the public node of the building and hit the floating AR in the shape of an old red and white fire alarm.  He didn't want anyone getting hurt from the explosion, better to get people out of the building.. [I assume I can do this. ]

As the alarms went off and stale water sprung out from the ceiling, Johnny sent off a quick message.

@Yurei "I need you to copy the building's camera feeds and then wipe them."

With that he rushed past where he assumed Mary was standing  and found himself looking at the man walking up, holding a book.

The man grumbled a little bit to himself as he shifted the unwieldy box in his arms and made to get his passkey out of his lab coat pocket.  That done he slid it into the door to Lab 212, pushed it open, and was greeted by a sultry Female voice saying "Hello Dr. Leary.  Are those the new cultures you've brought us?"

Ghost saw through the eyes of his watcher spirit as it circled the man's head.  Occasionally it paused to look at Johnny or Mary, but it followed the man into his office.  The man seemed tired and in poor spirits.
