Little confused about the last post, does that mean, if I try another attempt to upgrade my account to admin status, the firewall+analyze will most likely see me?
Is there any way to reduce this risk, e.g.by making some stealth rolls before Space go further into the commlink?

You can try to get in by probing instead of hacking on the fly.  That way they only get one roll instead of one every time you have one.  Downside is that it will take longer as you roll only once per hour in full VR and you need system+firewall+6 (for admin) hits.

For LJ's suggestion to split the group again: Trying to follow him does sound like a plan, but there's two problems:
IC: Do we have any actual reason to suspect he's involved with our target, the casino or the bog? Sure, he's a guy with a lot of resources and appears to like a wager; but other than that and some OOC feeling for narrative, what do we got on him?
OOC: We want to split the group again? IC Silk's quite alright with that, but OOC I'm not sure it's equally fun for everyone, some people having nothing to do but wait for some others to finish their thing.

He's Japanese, staying at a hotel, and likes to wager so much he will bet with an upper-crust woman over the fate of her son. 
If he's not in town for this massive high-stakes gambling event, then I'd be very surprised.

It's probably better that we find our own way to the place though, and then use his connections and your prior acquaintance to gain entrance.

@Kour: Not sure if you ask the IC but know the answer already, but afaik a hacked backdoor is valid until the system reboots.

Personally, I don't think average people reboot their commlinks quite often (I know the only times the past year my cellphone wasn't on, was during a funeral and once when my battery died)... and battery life seems almost infinite in 2072 (improved tech and piezoelectric stuff in your clothes or whatever?). But well, technically, we can easily lose the trace.

Most of it is rumours but one poster, Lendar223, swears he knows where it is, but isn't telling anyone.
