Yeah, same problem. Spamming refresh until it works helps... though of course that just means the server gets more requests from me and kicks other people off. The server overload seems to be getting worse and worse.

Silk's "plan": Lendar seems the only actual lead right now, even though it's slightly suspicious. If he's baiting on the matrix though, showing up on his location in the flesh might spoil the surprise.
She also thinks the old Japanese guy is worth keeping an eye on, but tbh I don't get how LJ wants to achieve this and LJ's little stunt has her doubting LJ's professionalism; she'll want to manipulate anyone into joining/keeping an eye on her but if that doesn't work she won't push it.

Andromeda is not really in tactical Planing, she just wants it to get done so she uses what she has to get the best advantages she can, meaning supporting anything the team does with logistics searches drones ect.

but as a player i am for going after Lenard an leaving a stakeout at the hotel.
Prepare for the worst, hope for the best and expect nothing!

Is the forum barely working for anyone else too? I couldn't get on here yesterday

I have it from time to time.  I've posted a thread in forum business, but nothing much has come from it.  Maybe you can revitalise that one.

anyways, back to the game.  I could leave a spirit to watch the hotel, only I'll have to refresh this spirit every sunrise and sunset.  Or a watcher.  As long as we stay out of the hotel they can't really do anything about it, and I doubt mine will be the only spirit in Seattle.  I'll have a look tonight when I have all my books and also to see what spirits I can summon again in my tradition.

EDIT: a spirit of air would do nicely.  It has search (just like watchers) and concealment, so it can hide quite efficiently.

That said, some Big Troll Muscle could be helpful for those times when we need someone to carry 4 unconscious characters out of a botched firefight.
But that's where Hank comes in and starts being hilarious! ;)

/cry

Poor Hank, all his edge forever reserved to impress Ladies :)

You could leave a spirit and have it inform you every time a vehicle leaves, so that you could try to identify which might be the correct one.  Still wouldn't try tailing the guy.  Stakeouts are about discerning a pattern of behavior.

Only problem is that the spirit will be looking out for cars, or people, but probably won't know one car from another and won't know a vory from a soccer mom.

They are quite smart, you know.  They can be fooled, of course, but so can everybody.  They can distinguish cars if they're told to watch a particular one, they can.  As for people, I've assensed our Japanese friend, so that's no problem.  I can give that aura to the spirit and they look at that.  He doesn't even have to materialise for that.

I was thinking about it more along the lines that spirits come from a completely alien world.  There's no reason it would have a concept of "limousine" or "Russian thug" in order to tell one astral shadow or unknown aura from another.  Besides, an unbound spirit would use up all its services to take a remote service, so it can't react to the situation if something unexpected happens.  Eyes on the scene are considerably more flexible.

Still Lenard is more important, so going after that lead is the priority.  If you think that there's a bar full of dudes who need to get spiked in the face with white phosphorous grenades, it'd be better to take LJ along.

I've just added a post where I asked to stop for a couple of minutes to do astral recon.  I hope that's ok.

Also, Chrona: if I need to roll something, let me know.  Wards, number of people and such should be pretty obvious, but getting a feel for the patrons maybe not.  I would like to know if there are any awakened and/or heavily cybered out there, so we have an idea of what we're getting into.

I'll complete the post as soon as I have the results, OK?

Assensing  please

intuition 5 + assensing 3 =8 (8d6.hits(5)=4, 8d6.hits(5)=3, 8d6.hits(5)=3, 8d6.hits(5)=1, 8d6.hits(5)=4)

I've made 5 rolls.  The first is just to look around, and I've taken 4 others if there's something special I would like to focus on.  Disregard those if they are not needed.  I've just put them to make the game move forward a bit.  If there is something special, you can take the next roll and see how much of it I can see (and with 4 hits on the first, I can probably see quite a bit in the general look-around).

I assume that the conversation with Silk is taking place while I'm doing astral recon?

Then we're closeby already? She isn't going to talk about anything job related (gambling, bog) unless it seems that's the only way to keep the guy talking. Want to chat it all out?

Anyhow, testing the keyboard of my new ASUS Transformer Prime, totally loving it!
Touchscreen typing is as bad as I thought.
