Instinctively Kitten ducked behind the car when the bullets started flying.  She had been shot at too many times not to have this reaction.  Next was to look around for trouble, spotting the man falling out of a bin.  Normally people don't sit in bins and this one looks too well-dressed to be a hobo.

If Kitten was outside the car roll perception, not actively looking, -2 rain, -1 distracted. Target 2 otherwise you aren't aware of him. Noise can make the same roll

Given that I've said a couple of times that I would let Silk do the talking and that I was looking around, I assumed that I was aware of him.  I'll roll.

intuition 5 + perception 2 + visual 2 + vision enhancement 2 - 2 rain - 1 distraction =8 (8d6.hits(5)=2)
