Today's weather forecast is sponsored by DocWagon. Gang Violence got you worried? Our R.R Teams are all ways ready to help!
An Icon of a business dressed woman talks out of the AR window to you, "Good evening Seattle... Here's the 4PM report... I guess."
Her blue waterfall shaped hair Is positively shooting down today, covering her whole body, she suddenly turns her head and you half expect to get a face full. "...No I won't cheer up! the Slot dumped m--zzztt beeeeep. TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES - STAND BY."

A new week in Seattle, It's about 5:00pm when you get the call. "Hey guys, hope you had a good week. It's time for that job I mentioned, just the meet today, no big rush like last time. Meet me at the clinic at 7pm."
Creepy Joe smiles and hangs up.

You look outside. Slot. I hope you've got chemical protection or this could itch.

Noise; PAN=Passive SIN: Genevieve Monroe Rt.4

Noise scratched at one arm while using the other to inefficiently scoop noodles to her mouth. She slurped them just as she got the call from CJ, with her mouth full she was unable to say anything to him before he hung up.  Not that she had anything to say, just, it must have been amusing to hear her slurping when he was talking to her.  She made a mental note to herself to finish what was in her mouth before answering the link again.

Noise finishes her pho before leaving the restaurant and hopping in her car, a quick stop at home for a shower, yay more water falling on me, would hopefully get rid of this damn itch.  What the fuck was in the rain today anyways?

Silk smiled when she got the call. She'd been expecting it a bit sooner but hadn't yet started doubting if it would arrive. "Sure thing, Mr. Johnson. See you then." No way was she calling him Creepy Joe, she'd get him to act more professional eventually.

How to get there? Noise did have a fun ride and a decent sense of fashion...
PM @ Noise: "Hey, you got CJ's call too? How about you pick me up at the coffee shop where you dropped me off last week? We'll have a drink and do some shopping before we go. I found this new place, they sell the most awesome boots you can imagine, with a discount for buying two pairs!"

Andromeda had just send the new course to Habu's pilot program as she heard Space speaking:
"we are on our way as we speak, so let's just enjoy the ride, might I ask that you show me how to operate the new programs? just the basics?"
A few miles from the destination they changed to the Shin(sedan) and continued on their way to the Meet.
Prepare for the worst, hope for the best and expect nothing!

Sure, know what, I was just going into our nexus at the safe house, checking if the search agent picked something up about during the week. I can show you the programs there.

AR: Space connects to the nexus and downloads the reports from the search agent. Then he joined an empty chat room, he installed on the nexus. The room is almost empty except of three chat bots.
VR: Space enters the crimson permanent assurance, takes a folder which is handed to him by the tea lady and moved down to the cellar. At the far end of the room, three targets floating in the air "This is a little trainings room, I build to test new ideas from some forums for the exploit and attack programs." Space starts to describe some basic about Andromeda's new programs. For someone with some hacking skills it is no problem to follow him. (In the case Andromeda has no such skills, its more like Space is speaking in an alien language: Instruction: 0 hits)
When Andromeda and Space change to the sedan, Space leaves the nexus and close the chat room. "If we going to keep this nexus, I maybe add a programm environment. We will see.".

While they drive towards the Meeting, Space quickly goes through the report of his search agent.

Monday August 13, 2073; 17:30, Kitten's home, near Tacoma university, Seattle
Kitten; PAN=Passive SIN:  Maria De la Vega Rt.4

Kitten was meditating in her magical lodge, so she hadn't heard the call.  When she did see the message about half an hour later, she quickly changed into her working clothes, put some gear she might need in a backpack and called a cab.  She had the cab bring her to about a block from the hospital and she ran the rest.  Seattle rain was quite clean compared to what fell out of the sky in Lagos, so while she did walked quickly, it didn't bother her as much as it did most people.

Arriving at the hospital, she said hello to the team members already there, while waiting for those yet to arrive.

It had been a long week, but Joe was true to his word.  That was good, because Angela was getting tired.  Maintaining this persona for this long was taxing, and unlike several of the others, Angela was aware of it.  Moving from shitty room to shitty room, doing bodyweight exercises was unbelievably boring.  Did Seattle really run out of people who needed killing?  She could hardly believe that.  Anyway, the long wait was over.  Stripping down to nothing, she applied a bottle Ready, Scent, Go! "canned shower" sanitizing spray followed by a quick chemical peel.  If she couldn't smell high class, she might as well be scent neutral.  She started her with her normal FFBA half-suit, discrete PPP forearm and shin guards and the skin tight chameleon suit underneath to fill out her skinny form a bit.

[OOC: Disguise Int 5 +4 skill +1 them shoe = 10d6.hits(5) → [5,3,5,5,6,5,6,3,6,3] = (7)]

Starting her disguise, she combed her already short black hair down and removed her upper dental appliance, giving her the gap-toothed look of a young child.  She took out the small suit Jimmy had purchased for her over the 'trix as part of the ident-fix, and slipped it on over her armors.  She took the PPP skullcap and put it inside the chameleon hood she then tucked away with the gloves in her little leather briefcase before starting on her makeup.  Finishing touches done, she but on her trodeband, goggles and earbuds, and he was ready to go.

Before he left the coffin room, Jun attached a breathtaker grenade to the door with his usual rig.  He hoped he wouldn't regret leaving the other grenades behind for now.  At least he had a whole deck of cards in his pocket to make up for the restricted access to his knives which this suit caused.  He fingered them nervously.  Going out this late always made him nervous.  Why did employers always insist on meeting so near to curfew?  Don't they know that the city is dangerous after dark?

Jun took out his umbrella and began the walk to Joe's clinic.  He wasn't too happy with the weather, having taken a room in a motel walking distance from Joe's just to avoid the need for an autocab.  At least he had goggles to protect his eyes and an internal air tank to obviate his need for breathing.  Things could be worse.

Monday August 13, 2073; 17:00, Quick Fix Clinic, Auburn, Seattle
Hank; PAN=Passive SIN:  Joseph Atwater Rt 4

Hank just finished his last client of the day and cleaning up the mess. The poor bastard had a cyberware malfunction right in the middle of a firefight and well, it went pretty good considering the circumstances. "Meh I told this guy before, there is always a reason for 50% discount and it's rarely because the guy at the Black Clinic like you" Hank thought.

After taking CJ's call, Hank opened his medkit to check his supplies. A couple of Stim Patches and his Armor Vest in the Rover. "Well hopefully it's really just a meet" he said to himself. Seeing he would be quite early and still remembering how annoying the ads were in the clinic, he poped his AR calculator and made a quick budget for the clinic. "Ack, another rough month, I really should get working a bit more... Well if Little Joe is right and CJ really want us as long term contractors, I guess that should fix the budget issue, until then he'll have Shadowrunning will be the way to not finish the month in red ink.

The lip reader software had done it's best without a direct view of their mouths in the normal recording, the conversation is definitely Ragley stating the terms of the deal, which match Ron's story. To match his face, Ron turns down the offer on moral ground, they do not  wish to become hunters and murderers. Then comes the frightful frame and next Ron is happily agreeing that they do really need the money.

Dowd Street is much more empty, Equilibrium still hasn't reopened, KE cordon tape cover the door and AR shows it circling the warehouse.
The clinic entrance is empty save for the same bouncers, the troll greets you all and offers coffee.

Still in the sedan, Space finishs the reports or better, he notices that it was empty except for the usuall spam stuff which shows up when you send a bot to do a data search job. To Andromeda: "Seems that neither one of our friends died nor Ragley, seems he was staying out of public too for the last week." With a hand wave, Space closes the folders. "By the way, as you see, got my hands on some new software: lip reader." He starts the program on the footage from the safe house ( and skips the ugly part of it). "Too bad, nothing new here, I hoped we get some new infos before we talk to the Johnson. Naah, you can't get everything in life."
When they arrived at the clinic, Space leaves Andromeda's car and takes two aspirin, he still had a stiff shoulder. Greeting all the other members with a big smile: "Hi everybody, nice to see that everybody survived the week."

Text @Silk: Yes I can pick you up. Do not know if we have time to shop though.

As promised, Noise picks Silk up in her car and amiably shares in the chit chat on the drive over.
"You will need show me this shoe store. I need new pair... or three." She flashes a grin as she passes by some old beater from the 50's. It looked like the thing was being held together with duct tape, and indeed parts of it were.  How it survived the acidic rain Noise had no clue, but didn't want to be behind it when pieces started coming loose.

After some time driving and a quick inspection of the neighborhood to make sure that the heat was gone, Noise and Silk arrive at the clinic, her car again parked a couple blocks away.

The walk through the rain is particularly tough, anyone walking through it for more than a minute in it will be at -2 to all actions from the horrendous irritation.
Rating 1 Chemical Protection reduces the penalty to -1, Rating 2+ Negates the irritation.

Hank; PAN=Passive SIN:  Jospeh Atwater Rt.4

As Hank walk to his Rover he realized of bad this rain was. Being a Seattleite, he knew how it annoying it is (and bad for your skin too). He ran to his car, making sure to wash the water with a clean towel. When he arrives to CJ clinic, he make sure to park as close as possible and get ready to run as fast as he can to make it inside.

Invisible Castle seem down at the moment Running roll will be up if Chrona deem it necessary.

Eww, nasty rain tonight, he said while nodding at the Troll. He quickly moved to through the clinic to the meeting room.

Usually, Space doesn't like those rainy days and would prefer to wait in his apartment, sliding through VR, until the rain stops,
but the euphoria about that he is still alive today, is stell very strong, so he greets everybody nicely. Space even opens the door for Andromeda and anybody else to let them go in first.

Although, Space doesn't reject the offer of a hot coffee from the troll at the entrance.
