Hey all.  After being away from SR for quite sometime  :'(  I had a thought...  after a looong road trip through Texas (like theres any other kind of road trip in Texas lol) i thought why not place a campaign there?  My "vision" is something like the Sixth World crossed with Road Warrior.  I was considering the base of operations to be in the Dallas-Fortworth area.  But as far as i know there is little setting info for that corner of the world.  If anyone knows any "official" info it would be of great help and save me some work  :D

You could probably pull stuff from today's narco wars along the border and just insert updated groups and add in a more militaristic response from CAS.
You can't tell me what toys I can play with.

Definitely some fun to be had working against (or for depending on the group) Aztlan.
It's not the man with the gun that gets you.  It's the three bullets he fired that tore through you vital organs that's killed you.

The neo-anarchist's guide to north america had a fair bit on Dallas/Forth Worth. The metaplot moved on from it, but I found it to be more interesting than where the metaplot's gone so I've stuck with it. I'm certainly having a lot of fun with it.

Something they have kept is that Dallas is a bit of a stop-off point for smugglers heading to the Aztlan border, which I liked.
