(Leigh's background and information on Contacts)
Born in 2043, to Matthew (an elf) and Aillen (a human)Stark, in the Seattle Metroplex. The third child, and first daughter, of the family, Leigh was raised practically wtih a silver spoon in her mouth. As the CEO, and majority shareholder, of Stark Industries Matthew (Matt to his friends and family) was able to provide his children (eventually four sons and 2 daughters) with practically everything they could want; education, the best in clothing and entertainment, everything, and this led to them becoming somewhat spoiled. Indeed, through high school Leigh was somewhat of a debutante.
What changed, is anyones guess... Leigh can't even pinpoint it. Suddenly, though, the lovely spoiled 'princess' became rebellious, and then some. Flaunting everything, she made life miserable for her teachers through college, her parents, even her friends and siblings. Hanging out with 'the wrong crowd', she learned a lot about the seedier, seemier parts of society she'd normally be barred from, even going so far as to enjoying evenings 'out' in the Redmond Barrens - not *just* Tourist Town...
Thus began Leigh's downslide into being the 'dark sheep' of the family. Uninterested in a position in the family Corporation, Leigh struck out on her own once she finished college at the age of 22, in 2065. Crash 2.0 provided the well-educated young elf-woman with all sorts of new possibilities, which is what led her to take leave. Of course, as intelligent as she is, she didn't fully severe ties with her family, although she doesn't recieve a lot of sympathy or support from them currently. That being said, she *is* a Stark and can occasionally call on her family for help.
Setting up a place in Downtown, Leigh then set out to build a new and differant life from what she knew - having already made contact witht he seemier side of life, the down-scaled neighborhoods... the criminal elements... Leigh threw herself into her black-sheep position. Although she had access to money, the elf made a point of rarely drawing on what she had access to, instead prefering to delve into the ways of this lower-class lifestyle she'd chosen to live. It didnt take her long to find 'work', first as a waitress at a seedy club (only a couple of 'steps' above 'dive'), then a little later as an 'exotic dancer' at the same club, known then as the Purple Vixen Club. The club was eventually burned to the ground after a rather large fight broke out between three rival gangs, which led Leigh to move on to a second club (and where she currently works, part time), the Silver Dragon Gentlemans Club (as a dancer and 'escort').
It was at this club, and through some of the people she met here, that she linked up wtih a number of people who would become important in her life, for good or for bad. Principle among these were Terista Michaels (owner of the Silver Dragon), Alex Ference (a mechanic who lived in the same building as Leigh), Morgan Tallows (a lieutenant with Knight Errant) and most recently, a young but irritating private detective named Alan Riebert. More on these people later.
For four years Leigh lived this lifestyle (at-best Low), dancing at clubs and operating as a joygirl part-time, pickinng up the skills that will lead her to eventually becoming a shadowrunner. The young elf did keep sporadic contact with her family (who in-fact was keeping distant tabs on her via her contact in Knight Errant) but sought to 'make it on her own'.
The night where everything changed started out like any other... she had been walking home from work, about three am on a rainy night, when she stumbled across an injured orc, staggering out of an alley-way. Unhesitatingly she moved to aid him, and stumbled upon the remains of a 'Run gone bad. The orc (a samurai named Grieg) and his teammate (a rigger called Cablecar) along with Leigh fought off several goon security troops from a nearby corp research base in a running battle that eventually led back to her apartment. The two 'Runners, impressed with Leighs courage under fire, quick thinking and surprisingly good shot, offered to take her under their wing if she wanted to 'get into the business'. Always looking for something new to learn, a new thrill, Leigh was eager to accept.
Thus began a Shadowrunning carreer that has to-date spanned three years. Drawing on her natural charisma and social graces, Leigh found she made an excellent 'team face', particularly once she got to understand the lingo of the ShadowWorld, the etiquette, and the way things are done. Grieg in particular worked closely with her, helping her to improve her combat and infiltration techniques, and even general fitness. Additionally, the two 'opened the doors', so to speak, to several of their own contacts which led her into the world of augmentation; indeed, Cablecar provided plenty of advice on what might and might not be useful for the eager young elf to aquire 'when she got the nuyen'.. not realizing she had a considerable bank-account already.
Leigh's carreer as a Shadowrunner is classified, burried deeply into the databases of numerous corps large and small, and the elf is reluctant to share tales of what shes seen, done and experianced. Not that she isn't proud, she just prefers to keep a somewhat lower profile, to keep the details to herself. One such run does, however, bare mentioning.
It was her third 'Run, the extraction of a scientist from his former corp handlers to a new corp. The infiltration had gone more or less according to plan, up to and including recovering the scientist from his work-area. Unfortunatly, things began to go wrong at this point; a silent-alarm had been missed somewhere, and the three infiltrators were ambushed near a junction of three cooridors. After fighting off the inital wave of security, Leigh was isolated by the rest by a security door. Desperately searching for a way out, the elven 'Runner came across a number of what seemed to be captives locked away in some sort of living suite. Having no idea of who they were, Leigh released them (half a dozen in all) in an effort to sow some confusion to help cover her escape.
One of them was a young elf calling herself Lyon, who was a technomancer. Sensing a kindred spirit of sorts, Leigh let the technomancer tag along after her, even going so far as to arm her with a weapon recovered from one of the guards. With the technomancers help, Leigh was able to escape the facility and rendevouz with the rest of her team. Although Lyon left to seek her own life, free of the tyranny of the corp, the two remained in loose contact via the Matrix.
Contacts Info
Daniel Stark - Leigh's youngest brother by a year, and the sibling she feels closest to. The two spent a lot of time together when they were growing up, and it led to them mainaning close ties even after Leigh left. This has been invaluable to Leigh as she enters her life as a Shadowrunner, giving her a contact within a what is hoped to be an up-and-coming major corporation. Additionally, Daniel is occasionally a source of work, providing the odd shadow-job. (Aware of Jenna McIntyre false ID)
Morgan Tallows - Leigh had the good fortune of meeting Morgan when she was a 'beat cop' working for Lone Star, helping the 'new to the streets' elf with some legal issues, and then later helping her deal with an assault. The two quickly became friends, having similar backgrounds and similar experiances on the street - Morgan chose a differant path, ultimately. When Knight Errant took over policing, Morgan managed to finangle a position with them as a sergeant, initially, but rose up to lieutenant rather quickly. The two remain friends, although Leigh's choice of becoming a Shadowrunner occasionally strains it. (hence the Loyalty rating of 3) (Knows of Leigh as Jenna McIntyre, but is also secretly aware of her true identity)
Terista Michaels - Currently the owner of the Silver Dragon, and the person who hired Leigh into her current 'day job' position, the two are close friends and occasional lovers. As a club owner and former Shadowrunner herself, Terista has contacts among the various criminal elements of Seattle and has been a frequent source of information, as well as occasioanlly providing a safe-house, for her companion. (Aware of all Fake IDs)
Alex Ference - A grizzled older dwarf, Alex has been a mechanic most of his life. Leigh was introduced to him through her old (now retired) friend Cablecar, and she has trusted Alex to look after her vehicle ever since. (Aware of Jenna McIntyre false ID)
Kasey Finnigan - Leigh doesn't know a lot about Kasey, not even if that is her real name; Kasey is a fixer and a fence in the shadowy underworld, and as such tends to be secretive. However, the two have a pretty good working relationship to date, with a slowly building trust. (Not aware of false IDs)
Heather Lawrence - Heather was Leigh's room-mate all through college, and the two remained good friends even afterwards. Heather is married, and is a high school teacher in one of the private schools in Seattle. (Not aware of false IDs )
Max Arden - Max is a 'wageslave' working for a local branch of the Horizon Group, and a 'client' of Leighs (in the guise of Jenna McIntyre, of course). Although barely middle-management, he's fairly well connected within his branch, and often has more information on hand than his branch manager. (only aware of Jenna McIntyre false ID, not true ID )
Tarra-Lynn Krupp - A lawyer at 'Harrison, Dalish and Krupp', Tarra-Lynn is the daughter of Max Krupp, one of the founding partners of the Firm. Tarra-Lynn specializes in corporate law in particular, but is also familiar with criminal law. Further, Ms Krupp is also the Trustee for LEigh's Trust Fund (which was set up by her great grandfather). Leigh and Tarra-Lynn have a primarily professional relationship, but over the years a friendship has begun to develop. In addition, Tarra-Lynn is often Leigh's first call when she has need of a lawyer, or advice on the law or corporate matters. (Aware of Rebecca Ashmere false ID)
Derrick Cragtooth - An ork, Derrick is a lieutenant in a sprawl-side gang whoses members frequent the Silver Dragon, occasionally acting as bouncers and security for the girls who work there. (Unaware of true ID, only Jenna McIntyre)
