EDIT: Well, I seem to be 10 points over when I take away my free contacts. Star's choice as to if I lose 10 points in some way or just sit with it.

I generally don't add contacts until after the adventure is run (and in this case, you don't know his Connection rating either and it would probably be something of a spoiler).

If the job goes well enough that he'll want to contact you in the future, I'll give you info for him.

Nice. I just updated Eliza's sheet with the new rule into play.

The modifications fitted like a glove in the character's concept, and they were really a welcomed addition if the plan is to really be globe trotting after some runs.
