So busy. so much work

An aeroplane is of length L’(m) precisely when measured in its rest frame at the airport. In what  percentage it will contract if measured by the same ground-based observer if it was flying past at 600 kilometres per hour?

it will appear to be (1-((v^2)/(c^2)))^.5 times the original length, with v=600 km/h and c=1.078x10^9 km/h

don't have a calculator handy, sorry  :)

Yep, I'm wondering the same thing.. I don't want to keep posting since it might leave some of the stragglers behind (plus it's hard to keep things moving until the GM gives feedback)

Unless we start making assumptions on our own, then we don't really NEED a GM lol. But then he doesn't get to tell the story he wanted to tell in the first place, so I vote wait for Star Manta to say something profound *nods*

Yikes, sorry guys. A lot of stuff going on over here (quit a job, got a new one, careers, life altering decisions, bachelor parties, multiple in-person SR games, ramping up a new gaming/scifi/fandom convention for which I could potentially be the con chair.... all in the last week) and I've just completely forgotten about the game. I'll go post in the IC thread to get whatever you guys need from me done.

Hopefully won't happen again, but it might as some of those things and more come to fruition. As a general rule in the future for the sake of keeping the game moving, if I don't respond to a post of yours within ~24 hours, just go ahead and assume that everything you did in that post went according to your plan and continue, at least for the non-critical side plot and character type stuff.

So next time I should just assume that as I watch the security across the street that I notice there is none and they don't even have cameras. The doors are unlocked too! Only thing we have to worry about is the maid service that comes in every morning at 8AM but they are gone by 10AM so not a huge deal? :-p

Are we still playing this game or not? I'm trying, really trying, but this is rapidly losing momentum.

Let's go ahead and have everyone fast forward to the meeting at 10PM to see if we can speed this along.

I just posted the description of the safe house, if you want to move things forward from here that would be good.

After the meeting with Johnson the agreement was that we should meet at this coffee house at 10 o' clock; so there we are.

Just informing, I'll be unable to post during this weekend (but probably starting tomorrow); I'll be back by monday, maybe sunday afternoon.
