Hi,

When creating a character, theres a maximum number of active skills rating 6 and 5 you can have, 1 or 2 respectively. The others have to be 4 or lower. Its the same, and independant, for knowledge skill.

For attributes you can have 1 at max rating (6 for humans) and you have to pay 25 bp for it. Is there a max 2 attrib at 5 max rest under 4 as well?

You can have as many attributes at one step below maximum as you want.

...although, unlike skills, there is a hard limit on how many overall points you can spend on Attributes.  With only 200 points that you can soak into 8 Attributes, and hard maxing one of them costing you 65 points, you only have 130 points left to spend on your remaining Attributes.  You could, for example, soft max 3 Attributes, for 120 points, but that would leave you with a 2 and three 1's for your other four Attributes.  This is why you see people soft max their main Attributes so often - so that their remaining Attributes can be more functional.
