Yes I beleive it is, you roll hacking+explioit to just burn stright through the firewall and make yourself a temp account.  The codeslinger quality provides a +2 dice pool bonus to any one matrix action so it should be legal.

How do you have Resonance 8? Is that a typo for 6?

I would strongly consider Compiling 6/hacking 4 or Compiling 4/Hacking 6, unless you never plan to raise either skill with karma.

01 is a good paragon choice if you don't know what paragon you want, since it gives a bonus to all sprite types. Black Hat is another good one, although Black Hat comes with a more serious drawback.

What are you getting out of Willpower 4 that you want? I would suggest 3, and get Edge 3 instead.

Raising Electronic warfare to 4 and dropping Perception to 1 is also more karma efficient.

It is, but only if you intend to raise electronic warfare. If it's perception you intend to raise some more later, it's the one you want at the higher level.

There's also the usefulness of the respective skills. I personally have found EW so useful I don't bother to include it in any of my technomancers anymore. (Yes, that sentence makes sense -- think about it.) If anything I'd reduce it to 1 and use the saved points elsewhere, perception being a decent option.

It's because the program is following the rule. You can have one skill at 6 or two at 5, all others cap at 4.

You can't have a 6 and a 5. If you drop your Compiling to 4, you should be able to raise Hacking to 6.

Just one question?  Why not Kat6?  You get a Gigabit connection that way.    Maybe even the new Kat7 that's coming out?

Or the Shadowrun version, Kat9, which also references the number of lives you have.  Each close call, you gotta take a number off.
