My points and everything are balanced and approved currently but was wanting to post here to see if there was any extra refinements yall might suggest like in the gear department.  I am considering picking up some grenades for instance.

Modified it some with Umari's advice and some inspiration from his combat hacker gained versatility for very little loss in specialization.

== Description ==
Nihil is a lean and powerfully built ork with jet black shoulder length hair and black eyes. He has quiet and calm demeanor, always watching and waiting. In street clothes he wears his Ulysses Line over his clothes and his form fitting armor under them. The coat hides his many throwing knives and helps conceal his face, which he often changes.

On the Job he switches to his Full Length Armored Jacket and brings out the more restricted B&E gear.

Drives a black and red Suzuki Mirage


== Background ==
Born on the streets to an unknown mother, who left him in a dumpster where he was found by a human Runner named Ghost. Ghost named him and trained him in the ways of combat and B&E, his own specialties. Ghost was also the one to train him in the ways of being an Adept when showed his magical potential on his 10th birthday. Ghost died on a run gone bad when Nihil was 16, but Ghost’s Fixer contact was happy to take him in and help in procuring the gear and enhancements needed for that extra edge in the modern world. A debt he is still paying off.

== Concept ==
A shadowy warrior Adept from the Streets who eschews modern weaponry, preferring throwing knives and his fist.

== Notes ==
Everyday wear Form-Fitting and Ulysses, with his knives and non restricted B&E gear. Plus his comlink, glasses, contacts, and earbuds.
He keeps the rest in his apartment.

Chummer isn't doing my DV values for power throw right so they are unchanged from those in the post below.

Metahuman Bodies are one of the options for Thrown Weapons.  Which means you pick up the nearest person, and throw him at your target of choice.

If you're throwing the Dwarf Street Samurai into combat, Cyberspurs out, it's right out of the comics!  ;D

There's often also many more  people around you than knives you can carry on your body that won't get picked up on sensors.  And even if you don't do any damage, only Trolls would have a chance of not getting knocked over.

My group had a contact (Krunch and Klub) that specialized in this.  Klub was thrown at a group of gangers, and two rounds later (While the group watched), he came back carrying two by their heels.  No magic, no cybernetics, nothing.  "There is never any point in time that we can do anything as awesome as that." was how one player put it.  :P

Some suggestions, in order of most strongly recommended to the more minor things.

1) The biggest flaw is that you don't appear to have any way to maintain throwing 2 throwing weapons per pass. You have Ready Weapon as a free action, but since you only get one free action per round, you'll be stuck at 3 projectiles per 2 passes. Iaijutsu is the cheapest way to fix this, since it lets you draw and throw as a single simple action. You could also use the Adept power Quick Draw, but I think Iaijutsu is more cost-efficient.

2) STR/2 effects round up, not down. Consider an odd STR.

3) You have lots-of-low-rating-skills-itis, which is bad for karma efficiency. You also have 5/5 for your high skills instead of 4/6, similarly bad for karma efficiency.

4) Multi-tasking is really bad, and quite overpriced. Extra free actions that don't apply when you are in combat - ie, the only time you would be tracking free actions? Perceive In Detail as a free action is not useless, but not worth 1 PP. Consider getting something else like Enhanced Perception in its place.

5) Facial Sculpt 1 is almost as good as 2; consider redistributing those points.

6) Mystic Armor is pricey, and in many ways not as good as Combat Sense. You might consider switching, or instead taking different powers.

7) You look like you have more than 1 point of essence loss. The Muscle Toner and Muscle Augmentation are 1 already. Also, Muscle Toner 3 is 15R, you need Restricted Gear (at which point, just get rating 4) for it.

8) Clinch is super terrible. Just hitting someone is a much better option. If you can clinch them, you could instead hit them and either take them out, or give them wound penalties that add up to more than Reach anyways. It also negates your own kick attack, so you are at best giving up a succesful hit for a whopping +2 net reach, and that's if you're fighting a troll with a polearm or something.

9) There's a lot of nifty throwing weapons besides knives, and it's worth carrying others for many occasions. In particular, Boomerangs (really long range, good damage), Combat Axes (short range, best damage), Molotov Cocktails (Elemental damage), and Nets (simple action to throw, people take at least a full complex action to get out).

UmaroVI thanks for all the advice will help for sure.

1. SR 4a says you can ready agi/2 throwing weapons with a ready action and augment agi is 8 so 4 knives and you get 1 free action per IP don't you.

2. Dropped Str to 7 for 30 more Karma

3. when I go 6 thrown and 4 MA it comes out 2 KP more then going 5/5

7. All Bioware is Alphaware comes in exactly at 1, also we are allowed one item up to Avail 16 at creation.

9. Will look into some of those already exploring Grenades especially with gecko casings :)

Oops, should have checked your link.. If you're using Karmagen, 3) is invalid.

For 1), that works for knives, but not for other thrown weapons. Iaijatsu isn't overly expensive.

== Description ==
Nihil is a lean and powerfully built ork with jet black shoulder length hair and black eyes. He has quiet and calm demeanor, always watching and waiting. In street clothes he wears his Ulysses Line over his clothes and his form fitting armor under them. The coat hides his many throwing knives and helps conceal his face, which he often changes.

On the Job he switches to his Full Length Armored Jacket and brings out the more restricted B&E gear.

Drives a black and red Suzuki Mirage


== Background ==
Born on the streets to an unknown mother, who left him in a dumpster where he was found by a human Runner named Ghost. Ghost named him and trained him in the ways of combat and B&E, his own specialties. Ghost was also the one to train him in the ways of being an Adept when showed his magical potential on his 10th birthday. Ghost died on a run gone bad when Nihil was 16, but Ghost’s Fixer contact was happy to take him in and help in procuring the gear and enhancements needed for that extra edge in the modern world. A debt he is still paying off.

== Concept ==
A shadowy warrior Adept from the Streets who eschews modern weaponry, preferring throwing knives and his fist.

== Notes ==
Everyday wear Form-Fitting and Ulysses, with his knives and non restricted B&E gear. Plus his comlink, glasses, contacts, and earbuds.
He keeps the rest in his apartment

I have an ork throwing adept of my own that's a similar build. I took Nimble Fingers as an adept power, both for the extra dice it adds to Palming and also for the flavor. Maybe I just like the image of him flipping small knives around his fingers, like Danny Trejo's character in Desperado.

I don't see a Maglock Passkey in your gear. It's expensive but I would highly recommend one of those to go along with your Hardware (Maglock) skill/specialization.

I like the build a lot. Looks like a fun character to play!

Oh, good, you listed all the ceramic knives separately.

Speaking of which, those are knives and they can be thrown but they are not "throwing knives", so to speak. Throwing knives have a separate entry in Chummer under ammunition, like the grenades. (You'll notice that the throwing knives have ranges while the ceramic knives do not.) Since the throwing knives are ammunition you can add any quantity that you like instead of having to add each one separately like the ceramic knives. That would cut down on some of the inventory spam.

A regular knife costs ¥20, which is the same as a throwing knife. It follows that ceramic throwing knives would cost the same as a regular ceramic knife (¥75), pending GM approval.

Any reason you took the Autopicker at rating 4 instead of rating 6? It's only a ¥400 difference and the availability rating is the same. Ditto for the keycard copier. ¥600 buys you two extra dice, which is a good value.
