btw. Netz is away for few days, he'll be back soon enough. Fractal is in the back of the Omar's van checking his stuff.

Sorry for not informing you, guys. The trip I I told Sent I was going to do was cancelled, and I just had not have the time to tell you all (since I was solving problems regarding said trip. In fact, still solving them; but I won't be out).

Fractal is in the story again.

Guys, you might want to take an etiquette (street) roll if needed.
Sorry for a small delay ;)

Okay.
Quote from: Etiquette test dice roll
8 (Charisma) + 4 (Ettiquete) + 3 (Glamour) + 3 (Tailored Pheromones 3) = 18 dice
18 dice = 8 hits, no glitch

And, snake_eyes, Mouse will soon discover some of the reasons of the handle. Something tells me Fractal will get quite well with Mouse. Good information on the post.

Alright guys seeing as how I almost botched our last negotiation attempt with a Johnson and now we have Fractal back as well as Sam. I will be taking in the scene from the astral. Boy I do hope that Omar doesn't have any more long lost nephews running around.
;D you are doing it again,
not sure how to speak with a mage in astral without resorting to waving hands and Sign language, but doubt Ryker knows any.
Prepare for the worst, hope for the best and expect nothing!

The soldiers got their orders. Trying to press the matter will only antagonize them further.
They are on their turf, so they cannot allow anyone to see them yielding on a specific matter to some runners passing by. That would make them look weak as a syndicate. And on more personal level would cost them life when the Vory boss learns they let ghosting mage in against their specific orders.

The best way to defuse the situation is simply acknowledgment and going in meat. You could underscore your strength  by forcing something else like carrying your guns in a visible way or brushing them out of the way physically. (opposite test of Strenght + Unarmed combat)

Regardless of what is the fixer saying, leaving now would have no consequences. Strong people don't have to go where they don't want to go and that could earn you even some respect. Delaying however before going will serve as irritation to their boss. If you want to discuss other scenarios feel free. I'll tell you most probable outcomes.
Sorry for a small delay ;)

One more thing. I should have been more clear about the test - on next occasion this would be Intuition instead of Charisma (since this is street knowledge rather than actual impression making) and without tailored pheromones or glamour.

Sorry for that; I thought it was to make the proper impression, not to understand what the "symbolic language" of the vory was like.

Just saying, Fractal is oblivious to the woman who requested help. He was still at the van at the time.

Can I still compile sprites and thread complex forms?

Well, guys, do you think I should go for a raise in their offer? If yes, how much?
This one seems to be a simple run, but tough... well, simple until any surprises, that is.

Defiatly!
we are professionals, if we agree without negotiations the it tells them that we are not worth that much. We should know our worth.
and there is the Russia politics, ask for something impossible to get something you are you are not entitled to.
this might actually make for some humor in the talks too.  ;D

Guys, in case you didn't notice, this isn't exactly wetwork (though it seems that this solutions is acceptable).

Vory want the gang to work for them. there is a lot of competition - and weakening competition while strengthening own position is always preferable to simple weakening.
