they cant follow a speech for 5 min, are they 4 years old?  ???
Ok short and simple it is, but i guess they will not want to tell us about the situation any more then get into the rover.
what should we do, from the coments i gather the Rover is oflimits just like using it to get there while geting a info dump on the situation.
Some team input please? what  do we do next?

First. Don't take me wrong, your posts was excellent, I really enjoyed it.

They can listen to five minutes speech. Actually they are listening to that kind of speeches since you came in - close to twenty minutes now.

And they still are still waiting for anything material.

In case of Mr. J. he would say, yes, i understand, please continue, can you elaborate. But Tony, wait and wait and wait, and beside being more and more late, he still doesn't know what you really want from him.
Sorry for a small delay ;)

Honestly - I'm gonna ask one of the lurkers out there to read the story in the IC, cut the matrix communication, and ask him what he make out from what you said. what kind of aneswer do you really expect, beside them going into that van.

well...if I can ask...did he at least recognized something alien on the footage we possiblz showed him (I know, Ive been just asking for the chance, IDN if he even saw that feed...) Someone who doesnt belong to the gang? Maybe different colours or something like that? He is supposed to be leader we cannot treat him like a puppet...you say: Tell him what to do...you really want us to make him self kind of remote toy?...
I understood from your post, that he was just a second in command, so decisions were made by Jimmy and he was just following instructions...
In this case the only advice we may have for him is to GTFO of Denver with Maria, because there is nothing he can do in this situation...
It looks to me that we are waiting for him to tell us what he needs us to do, and you are waiting for us to tell him exactly the same thing :D

except that he already told you several times - he want you to be his bodyguards.
but you keep telling him, no we can't and have some FUCKING WHATEVER reasons that you cannot go on your own terms.\\this is getting really frustrating for him.

Both sides.
You know that when you hire a bodyguard, he will become more than just your shadow. He will tell you where to go and where not, when to lay down etc...IDN maybe Sam is able to do this work, well no bodyguard would just blindly follow you up to possible firefight...he will ask you about your enemies, about the turf you will be moving on, maybe even about the weapons and tactics of your enemiesand possible enemies. Tell us who we should watch closely when he would speak etc.
 IMO.
Im content right now that Im just a driver..and Scary Ghoul :D

1. you didn't said you take the job. refused to answer SIMPLE question on the payment

2. you can have your opinion as a bodyguard, but you CANNOT force your way. if you do you get fired. you propose the solutions for the situation your employers get into

3. there was an option to say no, but you didn't even said that straight

4. there is something very disturbing in you on each SIMPLE question like: what do you want, you answer with speeches, that are vague, very vague or very very vague, that seems to have only one goal to keep you from getting to the meeting.

5. after reading your speeches, I still don't know what you want from him: to leave right now, to attack the Fronts, that you are sent by Fronts to keep him from getting to the meeting, while they will have their talk with gang members without Tony present?

6. you seem to try to guide him into getting some idea, that the Fronts killed Jonny, and he simply discards that idea as ridiculous, so he starts to suspects you of some other hidden agenda that you admitted you have but refuse to reveal, and since street butchers in Warrens preying on people in need are quite common

you act suspiciously, and in Shadows you are paranoid or you're dead. Tony is a living ganger, that should tell you something on his paranoia.

Great roll on that one. Two hits on three dice is really something.

I am relaxing before tomorrows work peak, so just shortly. I believe thet the feeling is  that we need to get to practical matter. short sentences. Facts. If he is suspecting us from anything, Netz..eh sorry...Fractal would be able to see that from his body language. Rolls for every step, Netz, demand it. Fractal is far more capable in social situations than anybody of us IRL, so rolls are about to simulate this advantages. helps keep balance also.
back to topic...if he suspects us of something, lets take it short and tell him the he is our voluntarily asset, and we had a real job going down. That we mean no harm to 3K if they would be willing to cooperate with our employer. that we ofering guns, backup, training and whatever. Or extinction. Binary choice. Dont be afraid of asking him if he heard about the KoffeeKlach incident a week ago (for Fractal...about 20 bodycount...it was an accident, but their blood is on our hands mostly)

Now that was intense.

I honestly didn't expected it go that deep. Bravo.

let me just award you:

Karma

1 Karma for saving Kev

Additional Karma:
Fractal - 4 - I don't know where to start or finish. This run goes very face-style so far and the band to play must have a solist doing his job perfectly. You do. Applaud.
Omar - 4 - I've never expected to see Omar's having feelings, memories, deeper thoughts. Excellent roleplay Sichr.
Sam - 3 - spectacular posts, Kour, I appreciate your drive to do good things, but even more how you rationalize them, fit them into your character. I know from previous runs, that at some point this can kick your character in the balls, but until then let us enjoy even more of the roleplay you perform.
Mouse - 3 - despite having little to do as a technomancer, you put up with the chellenge, squized much of the character into that boy, and I feel that you really bound that team together, as they quarrel over Mouse's education, well being, streetlife.
Riker - 1 - You was missed out there JDA. Please weave in more of the Ryker into the story.

The tension, was unbearable at times. I was so frustrated playing Tony, and so were you I think. It's difficult to communicate over forum in a text game, but we're learning it, and I think we're getting better at it.

Now, brace yourself for the TWIST.

*bows*

Thanks a lot for all the compliments; Fractal is quite an awesome character to play.

And I can just agree with Sent in his comments about the cast; it's being a really nice game to play.

And, once again, I have to agree about the unbearable tension at times; but we managed to pass it safe and sound; it turns out in a good story, and then we move on to the next moments.

Now, brace yourself for the TWIST.

Prepared.
