Combat Medic for critique

This character is already in play, so I don't expect I can make any changes. Still, I'd like to learn what I can do to make this more powerful.

Concept is Combat Medic. Priority one is healing so others can deal, priority two is dealing myself.

Oh, pardon the bbcode. I'm still trying to find a layout I really like that balances critical info up front while having a full list. Right now there's a lot of redundancy. (Yes, I've been stealing layout ideas from everywhere.)

The first thing you notice is the face. Or rather, the scar that used to be a face. Everything below the eyes is a puckered, twisted mass of keloids; the obvious result of a close encounter with lots of fire and small pieces of metal.  No beard for this dwarf, but with the scarring not many will confuse him with a child.

The second thing you notice is the arm. The right arm is obviously cyber. You might think the arm and the face happened at the same time. You'd be right. These days that's not a huge deal, but it's still noticed.

It's only after that you notice the rest. He's a little tall for a dwarf. He looks like he'd tip the scales at around 50 kg; the arm makes him heavier. He's light-skinned for a dwarf, obvious when you see he's bald on top (you aren't sure if it's natural or a tonsure). The thick red hair of the fringe and back of his head is braided into a heavy queue.

Personality/background
Edward Tolliver worked for DocWagon as an HRT Medic. Then came the "incident". On a hot pickup someone turned the dial up to 11. Ed had just dropped to assess the client when it all went pear shaped. Grenades started flying everywhere. He covered the client and instinctively tried to hide his face with his left arm. He lost the arm and suffered major scarring of his lower face and chest.

On the recommendation of both HRT teammates and his supervisor, he opted for a cyberlimb. With the company's insurance he got good arm with a little extra for the next hot landing. He hadn't expected to feel the ache in his soul, but it beat the alternative.

Back on duty, he kept thinking of the "incident". He got to thinking of how what had been a simple extraction turned bloody -- bloodier. How it brought in even more extractions. He noticed an uptick in single client HRT extractions turning into multiples. He began to wonder out loud if there wasn't maybe a bit of profit-driving going on. Word came around that he shouldn't wonder about that. He got the message and quit wondering out loud.

About a month later he got the notice. DocWagon had "discovered" that his SIN was fake, cause for immediate dismissal. He wasn't welcome any more as an employee, and he should seek his medical insurance with another company. "Oh by the way, here's the bill for your part of the arm. We gave you a discount on the surgery and rounded it to 15,000¥ since you've done such good work for us in the past. Monthly payments are 2,250¥, due the first of each month. Thank you for your time, don't let the door hit you in the ass."

Since then he's discovered that once legit medical businesses learn he's persona non grata with DocWagon, they're not interested either.

Looks generally good to me. The few things I'd note:

I assume the not having armor on the cyberarm is intentional sandbagging?

You cannot install Gas Vent systems in pistols.

PuSHeD and, especially, Cerebral Boosters are both worth it. It's reasonable to wait until you can afford higher grades of ware to fit those in though.

Nanohive+Neocortical is totally worth it.

My team's combat medic is mundane, so there's going to be a few differences. However he's been pretty successful with the concept. One thing that sticks out to me is his Athletics Skill Group. Considering how many times he's had to jump in water (swim) or sprint through obstacles (running/gymnastics) to save someone, it's been a real big help for us.  I think it's worth the investment if you can swing it.

I decided I wanted the cyberslide, knew I wanted high agility, and because of a completely irrelevant discussion got my mind fixated on an implanted commlink.  (In the arm took no more essence.) If I ever redo this one, that's something I'll probably fix.  Thanks for catching the gas vents.

Argent, I actually thought about  the swimming. This medic has oxygenate and can summon a water spirit for movement. 7 summoning dice isn't much, but since I'd only need one or two hits for the job it's no big deal.

Of possible relevance, I started trying to make this character as a mystic adept. Someday I'll figure out a role for those that works AND that I like. But it did mean I was coming from a particular direction that somewhat warped my decisions.

There's the MoM Logic -> Agility build represented by the Transhuman Mystic.  Take out the armor and gyromount out of the armor out of the arm and drop the lower leg.  With an alphaware arm and biocompatibility (cyberware), you can get genetic optimization and cerebral boosters 2 with only 1 point of essence loss.
