Butcher is broke (living on the streets)

1d6*10=30

That makes me an average level of wealth for lowlife.
Sorry for a small delay ;)

Those intents would be posted in OOC, right? So either the player or GM (you) can relay them on IC when the time is there?

(snip)
yes.

(snip - from IC)
((OOC - are we doing starting nuyen as stated in the book, or is there a particular way you want it done?))
As book, and for this I'll trust your roll.

Can't access invisible castle at work.  Accourding to chummer I have starting nuyen of 2500.

Debbin spent 1k nuyen on Mortimers of London buisiness wear.  Remaining nuyen 1500.

Got a 9 on the 3d6 for starting nuyen, so 450 starting cash.

Sammy's starting nuyen:

starting nuyen (4d6=11)

As I have middle life style, that's x100 and I can add the 900 I had left over for a total of 2000 nuyen to start with.  Of those who have already rolled I seem to be the rich guy (or gal, as is the case here).

I assume I have the magical lodge already set-up.  I have bought the materials, but as I'm living there alraedy for a year, I assume that I had the time to set it up as it should be.

Also, as I don't have access to the forums at work, I can only reply in the evening.  Central European time that is, which is about midday-early afternoon in New York.

Not quite. The 900 left over gives you 9 more dice to roll (SR4A 88). Which means you're likely to be even more wealthy at start than you think.

Yes, I'll allow the lodge to be already set up.

Time on responding to forums is not a problem but thanks for letting me know. You're not the only one -- Sichr will often have similar issues.

Finally, while the time zone is the same as it is for New York, I'm much closer to Atlanta -- ~150 km north of it.

Reread that, Kirk. You don't add dice to the roll. Instead of 4d6x500 for starting nuyen for a high lifestyle, you can have up to (4d6+12)x500 nuyen, not 16d6x500 nuyen. Big difference.
Greataxe - Apply directly to source of problem, repeat as needed.

Ok, now that I see the types of responses given in the ICC, looks like I will have to step up my game a bit.   ;D

Which is why I like a "pregame" period. It lets everyone get comfortable with playing before the serious stuff begins.

It also tells me how much role vs roll I need to be doing as GM.

I'm cool with both :)

Question: What kind of Barrens part is this? If Rafa has no idea, he'll ask 'Meaty' Jorge Alazan in the gym/dojo he's in. Not asking anything to specific (so not, how many ghouls/mē or which gang owns which block), just what kind of 'hood I should be expecting to have an idea what Rafa should be packing.
(To clarify: Sorry, I'm still not all that familiar with Atlanta, but Seattle Barrens can be anything from just a really poor neighborhood to a place where you have to face a new group of gang-toughs every corner you turn to a place where no metahuman comes unless they want to be ghoul snacks. I'm guessing this is pretty much the same? So is this you're-just-a-snack-here town or please-just-leave-us-squatters-alone-we've-got-nothing-to-steal-anyway town?)
Might, probably will, edit Rafa's post accordingly.

It's not a competition, post however you feel comfortable posting. The quality of my posts can go from anywhere between 3 words to 3 pages depending on how much time and inspiration I get.

Kirk, you have any post rules? Like 'no dicerolls in IC', or 'always in IC but always at the bottom', in a quote box or in OOC tags or something the like?

I know its not a competition, but I like to keep my post compettive with the other competitors, just to keep things competetive.   :o
