If they would really like to cheat, they would. Even on invis. I've been GMing since almost a year here, and I checked the log only on few occassions.

If someone want to cheat, I'd just let him. ultimately we're here for fun, and if it's his or her treat, let it be.
For me it is important to get the dicepools properly counted, so I can have that RAW feeling. The actual rolls for me can be made with real dices and just results posted. I've never postponed my games during invis down times.

At this time, any roller that lets me "see the work" (see the individual rolls if I check) is fine. I know some are spoofable. I'll live with it unless somebody is consistently above average in their rolls.

I think, as I write this, that we're only waiting for Butcher to get there (5 minutes late, if I'm reading his post correctly.)

I want to take a moment to mention "If I'da known" actions - like these perception rolls I just had you all do.

What some of you will notice (Boris and Rafa for sure, others after I check your sheets for knowledge) is that the trolls and orks are wearing different gang colors. You all also notice that everyone's a bit tense.) Now, I can't think of anything any of you would change in a major way knowing that, so I rolled through the first check and down to the logical pause.

However, some of you might have done something a little different. If you have a "I would have xxx if I'd known" and it's reasonable, I'm comfortable with you making a retroactive statement in your next post. Don't edit your old post, make the comment in your new one.

If I think the roll will make a significant change in your actions, or if I feel like messing with your heads (I am a GM after all), I will stop at the roll. No ex post facto actions required or allowed.

If it keeps the game moving I don't care. It's hard enough to keep these games moving forward even without delays due to the fragging dice roller! Besides, if anyone got caught cheating Boris would smash them good. Boris is a good problem solver like that.

A reminder here. I know you've got a face, and a lot of players like to sit back and let the face do the talking.

I can't tell, over PbP, if that's what you're doing. And I don't want to shut people out if they've a comment or plan to do other things in the middle of it all.

So even if it's "[character] sits back and listens," I would like everyone to post before I continue. Or say you intend to do nothing till some condition is met, either one, so I can know you don't intend to post.

My idea was to get him to give some numbers, then turn to the others and speak with them about it before attempting to negotiate further.  That way if the others have some sort of information that might make it easier to get better numbers I can use that.
