As I understand the book, astral perception as you're using it is "observe in detail". As with Mutt's "detect all drones in a block radius" check, while I know you're not trying to abuse the system I require a bit more focus. As a result I'm only giving you Mr. Johnson. You'll need to observe each of the others at the table in turn if you want them. That's a simple action (at this point in time irrelevant, but worth noting for future reference) and a perception roll.

Trouble? too vague - the whole thing is trouble in a lot of ways. I'd need a bit of detail what sort of trouble you're checking on.  Ways out? Yes, that's detailed enough I can give a general response.

My intention was to determine if there were any drones in the meet location that I could use as a remote camera. That way I could determine number of potential enemies and if there are escape routes I should be aware of.

Which gangs are present at the meet? Do they have any connection (close proximity, alliances, rivalries, etc) with the Brannon Boyz? Boris is rolling the idea around in his head that he might somehow step on the Boyz's toes and that he needs to avoid that.

2) Those datasearches would each have differentz thresshold and possibly even interval, wel,, since old man is a rhetorician, there is some time for the research
3) Being jumped in VR doesnt mean uncounsciousness in real world. it gives -8 to any meat world test, well sitting on the armchair and not moving would not be impossible
4) r4 jamming wont affect my connectibility, even when Im not runiing ECCM, which I am.
5) Someone possibly would notice my activity. go on with that, its a roleplay...

In the future, tell me why you're doing it. I don't read minds. If I have to guess, I am likely to guess wrong. I didnt' know if you were looking for ambush drones or spydrones or what. If you had told me, I'd have GM tweaked your search so you ignored household stuff and also looked for street cameras.

Gangs were already mentioned: Greenbacks and Gallos. For more than that I need a knowledge roll - memory  plus gang knowledge.

you might add that spoils of war are ours. if they act military they might be having good (and precious) stuff on themand even more in their hq. we could loot it before burninv to the ground.

on the moral side i've no problems shooting anyone.

and to second: typing posts on a tablet sucks - especially if you have any rolls to be made.
