Name: Elliot Conner
Alias: Blitz
Race: Ork
Sex: Male
Nationality: UCAS
Lifestyle: Squatter
Karma Spent: 0
Physical Description: Blitz is an average sized ork, meaning he's
bigger than all but the bulkiest humans out there. He's got a green tinge
to his skin and prominent tusks making it impossible for him to pass for
human. His face is what most people think or with the word ork: Scrunched,
battered, and ugly. His eyes are a murky brown and his nose has been
broken half a dozen times leaving it to look more like a lump of clay than
anything salvagable.

Blitz keeps his head shaved as he always did in the military. When out in
public he'll toss on a a set of vendor clothes, or his Syngergist suit if
its a special occasion. For hot spots he'll either throw on his old Camo
Jacket for minor trouble or his full military armor for a major incident.
Between his training and the suits ruthenium coating, Blitz seems to
dissapear in a blink when wearing the assault armor. With the Chameleon
System off, the suit is painted in a Night Urban Camo pattern.

Personality/background Blitz has spent the past eight years serving
with MET2000 in [Classified]. Two weeks ago a [Classified] went south and
left him stranded and alone in enemy territory. The mercenary corporation
never sent any forces to meet at the backup extraction point, so Blitz was
on his own. Assuming that MET2000 had written him off as an expendable
asset and assumed his death, Blitz managed to sneak onto an enemy
[Classified] and escape at the first unsecured port. He's has since made
his way back home to Seattle. He tried to work a bartending gig in Redmond
but it just didn't feel right, so he's looking for more serious work now.

While serving with MET2000, Blitz was part of the [Classified] squad. They
were sent in for recon missions in which "good" news would need an
immediate assault team. Blitz played a simple weapons support roll on the
team, but also served as a backup demo expert and a secondary medic.

*I know the commlink is far more than he would most likely need, but War seemed to imply it was the norm for a basic infantryman.
*He has no contacts because he just made it into town after eight years. A lot has changed and he hasn't managed to find any of his old buddies. Probably dead given the average ganger or runners lifespan these days.

For the most part looks solid. I'd only be wary about the number of points youve invested on what you will find to be redundant skills. First off you i've found you never end up unsing athletics anyway near as much as you'd think. Given your high physical stats one rank in it would be enough, Or instead just 4 points in gymastics. Likewise i personaly would drop a weapon skill.
I would drop heavy weapon and drop athletics to 1 rank, and take cyber combat and codeslinger attack quality

But its a solid build and it would work as you have it, Having someone who can snipe is always nice, though i'm used to leaving really heavy fire to drone suport, and having my street sams use automatics, hence why I woud drop overlapping and ususaly unused skills and take a secondary role, Ie hacking. You could go for the hot sim cyber combat role so that when your main hacker gets in trouble you can take the heat and do some damage.

I think you're mostly fine aside from the issues (eg, ovepriced commlink) that you already mentioned. Minor points I would suggest:

Synthacardium, but you might be planning on picking that up later. If it's worth 40 bp to get Athletics 4, it's worth 6 to get +3 to Athletics.

Even Willpower makes me sad.

Right now, you are not getting your money's worth out of Blades because even if someone is right up in your face, you're better off shooting them than fighting with a sword, and your nodachi is less concealable than your AR, while your knife is less concealable than your machine pistol. Martial arts (specifically, Two-Weapon Style) could give you a reason to melee. Otherwise I would drop it for Unarmed, since that is easier to apply to melee defense and gives you more utility (ie, you can't be disarmed and have Subdue as an option).

The Ares Crusader is strictly worse than the B&P MP-9.

You have a lot of the trap grenade options. Get chem grenades and white phosphorus.

Why no battle rifle? The Ares HVBR is really good, and you have a good reason to use it.

One might also suggest taking some Martial Arts even if going Unarmed. Boxing would make sense for a soldier, as might Krav Maga (for a more spec-ops feel), and/or Wrestling.
