Wait a minute, I remember reading about Haesslich's body being recovered, by United Oil. Reference New Seattle s/b, pg 88.  Of course, you may be right - there's been no follow-up to state either way.

Arete is one I've always been curious about and I don't think he's had writeups in anything as yet.
Others include: Beaker, Clockwork (because everyone wants to Punch the Clock, Danger Sensei, Ethernaut...those are some specific ones I could mention, along with some others.

One thing I'd really like to see is a Street Legends-esque book full of antagonists. The Supplemental looks like its got some good ones in there, but what are the chances of seeing a book dedicated specifically to such folks? I know my preference would be a range of low-mid powered opponents/adversaries all the way to scary ones, like Alachia.

Second that.  Give me a book of scary son-of-batches to through at my players.  Nasty cyberzombies, cruel johnsons, clockwork, you know the very worst of the shadows...

I got one for you... From the old novel Wolf and Raven... I'd like to see Wolfgang Kies stated out. What the hell was he? Sorry for taking it that old school, but it's always bugged me.

A Wolf shaman/adept, before the rules for shamen and adepts were really nailed down.  Wolf and Raven was written very, very, early in Shadowrun's real-world history.

The official party line when the Wolf & Raven stories got republished in novel form (They originally appeared in Challenge and White Wolf magazine, I believe, several of them before SR1 was released) is that Wolf is a Physical Adept who followed a shamanic totem (Wolf, natch).  he was not a caster in any form, he just followed a Totem and thus had a Wolf Shamanic Mask that manifested when he used his abilities.

I loved the concept, and I've been pushing to have it injected as a fully realized idea into Shadowrun for years now.

(And just to be clear, the novel was published around '97/'98 or so, as I recall.  The original Short Stories date back to '89 though.  outside of some of Charrettes stuff, they represent the first Shadowrun fiction produced.)

When I had Michael sign Wolf & Raven at GenCon a few years back, he said he'd be more than happy to.

Yeah, hence "I believe".  I know White Wolf magazine used to have Shadwrun stuff in them (This was back when companies could produce a magazine that wasn't just a mouthpiece for their own games.  Hell, even Dragon had some Shadowrun in it at one time).  The stories showed up in a couple places, but...  yeah, it's been a LONG time and I never actually had these, my GM did.

Well, yeah.  I was just wistfully remembering right alongside you, not trying to correct/contradict/whatever.

The stuff I'd LOVE to dig up, really, is Tinner's (My former GM's) old Scrawls from teh Sprawls APA.  He was into that back in like 91-93ish, along with Steve Kenson, Jon Szeto, and a few others.  Come really interesting stuff in those.

I'll agree about /dev/grrl. She's what 17 and a corp kid, how did she get wrapped up in the shadows so fast?
I've also been interested in learning more about Traveler Jones and Red Anya.
