Okay, I'm trying to whip up a full-body cyborg character, just for the challenge, and I'm stone-walled.

I can get the Essence cost down low enough with liberal use of Alphaware and Biocompatibility, but I'm running up short on the Nuyen. I'm already using Born Rich and the maximum level of In Debt.

Are there any other RAW-legal ways to raise the spending cap?

As far as I know, you've pretty much hit the limit unless you can sweet talk your GM into raising the cap. Maybe buy him a nice big cheesecake if he lets you do it?

Like I said, this is just an experimental thing; trying to do it strictly RAW.

Take a look at my sig for the Bad Enough Trog - I think it's perfectly affordable, although you have to go light on everything but cyberlimbs.

Ah, that's my problem... I was trying to start with Synaptic Booster 2.

Yeah, there's just no way to pull that off. You can start with SB 1, or no IP enhancer and just use drugs for a while.

Black Market Pipeline Quality could lower the price of your 'ware by 10%.
Biocompatibility can help with keeping essence costs in check without paying for higher grade 'ware. (Type-O system does that even better, but you'll probably not have the quality BP free to get it.)

Already using Biocompatibility; still need Alpha. Also, I thought Type-O only worked with Bioware?

EDIT: Are there any mods other than "Customized [ATTRIBUTE]" that can't be added/upgraded after c.gen? Because, if not, I think I've got it licked; he'll just be lacking most of the extra Armor, spurs, etc.

EDIT REDUX: Okay, the way Chummer is showing things stacking suggests that Encumbrance Penalties only affect the "real" stats, not the averaged total score with cyber limbs. Is this accurate, or a bug with Chummer?

What all are you replacing?
With Bio-compatibility's 10% discount:
Full Arm * 2 = 1.8
Full Leg * 2 = 1.8
Torso            = 1.35
Skull             =   .675
                       Total = 5.626
Leaves .375 essence and costs 90k if its obvious.
Rating 1 Cyberears = .18
Rating 1 Cybereyes = .18

= .015 left and you're only at 91k

Are you doing Alpha or customizing all the limbs or something? It shouldn't be too hard to get your Essence down there. A good example is 'The Artificial Man", one of my characters I posted here. He has 0.005 Essence, IIRC.

Was going to try to plug in Rating 4 Cybereyes/Cyberears so I could set them up as fully loaded.

Yeah, trying to customize the limbs, since they're going to have 5/6ths of the impact on the character's physical attributes.
