The sprite will be holding actions, it's purpose was to defuse any databombs. It doesn't have the decrypt program.

Since he probably can't do anything else (like summon a sprite,) Mouse continues to work dilligently on decrypting the drone 1 node.
EW(4)+Decrypt(3)+TM(2)-sustaining(2)= 7d6.hits(5)=3
Chalk up another 3 successes.

With most of you in VR or unconscious. Only Lips (with his own eyes) and Omar (with the microdrone sensors) obeserved holding their (metaphorically speaking is case of Omar) breath. The second the drones had had a clear line of fire and no distractions in front of them they should concentrate their fire on the body of Sam to finish the job they started.

But nothing like this had happened. The searchlights went off, the aftersounds of machinegun fire fading in the tunnels. A faint sound of a drone moving over the rail is being heard.

from the combat persepective, assume you've broken the encryption on trasnmission line and shortly after on drone #1 node.

As soon as Fractal perceives that one of the drone's encryption is finally cracked (it took just seconds, but for someone in VR, in the heat of combat and with a friend uncounscious in the line of fire, it seems like forever), it's Matrix avatar starts the process of interpreting it's internal structure and search for exploits to use in getting on the node.

Even without help of Omar Fractal found a hole and dived in into the node.
The flickering sculpture forced its way over the neural transmitters of your commlink and there was no Condor icon anymore, but a human prisoner icon. To your shocking experience you found yourself chained, with a large metal ball.

The node itself looks like a prison. You stand on the sand near to the tower with its walls going endlessly to the left and right.
There is a powerfull searchlight mounted on the tower as well as a large machinegun (both are constructs for the peripherals facing outward).

There is a prison guard manning the tower (agent construct) it is cautiously watching the AR screens before him (sensor peripherals). He is holding commlink and a bunch of keys at his belt (construct for access_log and account priviledges).

The agent haven't spotted you obviously. As impossible as it may seem to you - you have a feeling that the world outside is moving while the tower is immobile...

Dammit.

The new icon sculpting felt odd and unconfortable. More than that, it felt limiting; and that's a feeling Fractal just can't bear.

It's not insecurity, but this node is just that wrong. Company is needed to put things right again. Fractal reaches for the pockets in the prisoner's clothes his icon is wearing (wondering why would a prisoner garment have pockets after all) and manages to reach a dull-edged spoon. Despite it's strange sculpting, it was clearly his Editing Program; the icon had a fitting presentation for the node, but it was a bad and sad joke.

An astral scan, reveal that Sam indeed is alive, bruised severely, and bullets in few places did pierce the armor, but you are as certain as you could ever be without medical knowledge that he is not in direct danger. Healing him however might be outside your power with the amount of essense he sold for cybernetic enhancements.

The drones stopped shooting... well, not the efforts of the team, but at least they did. So all they need now is to deactivate the drones so that the team is able to safely get to Sam, take him to a safe place and treat his wounds. And please Eliza so that she shares her info on the missing team. And then find the missing team.

A little bit more than Fractal would like to think.

Omar uses Fractals acess to subscribe to the node, ready to assist Fractal with anything he would like to do. When he enters the node, and finds out the sculpting and consequences, he neverthless adapt his plan to the situation:
