Surprise! Nothing!

@Team: "Let's not let the dissapointement make us lower our guard. Any new information on the new room?"

Fractal emits a soundless hum and analyse it's echoe: if the room is as empty as it seem, and he does not perceive any surprise, he begins his walk to the next pair of doors.

Sam Follows Fractal inside, checking his Radar, he know he would detect even magic, as he had with Ryker.

The ultrasound didn't reveal anything inside, especially anything that would be hidden with invisibility spell.
Radar revealed that below the floor is another chamber. No staircase however are visible. It might be that there is yet another level below the current one.
Sorry for a small delay ;)

"There seems to be a basmet, anyone see a doorbell or elevator?  ;D" Sam Tried to make a joke, but it did rather sound forced. But his jokes where not particularly funny, even when at full health, so it did not bother him so much.

"Let me see, if I get a better look down there." Lips takes a quick step into astral space to check this and the room below.

the wisps of vision obscurring slightly red swirls of mana make it a little difficult. the room below seems empty. no exits that you can see.

Assensing: 5 hits

Lips current assumption: Probably nothing, in the past both rooms were one (maybe a gallery to reach the two doors), but then someone but a second floor into it (maybe to reach the second door because the gallary rusted away).

As he walked to the other side, where the doors are, Fractal is a little... anxious. The very anti-climatic door opening that just happened unsettled him, and the feeling is not yet gone. He observes the other doors, thinking how concrete they are, differently than his assumptions on the other side.

Noticing nothing out of order and reassured by his teammates, Fractal carefully went in heading for the doors, followed by Sam and D1 flanking him left and right. Lips sitting crosslegged and Omar kneeling at the first chamber. Mouse still pondering on the tunnel events stood nearby.

Thinking how dull and anti-climatic this chamber is, Fractal taken another step.

Click.

Whaaa .... it's surprising how many things a person falling down can think off, especially if he has boosted reflexes.
Trapdoor ?!? Like in the medieval ages? O God, I hope there is no poisoned spikes, there were always poisoned spikes in the movies.
The final thought just before thumping to the ground seems to always be Fuck !

The entire surface of the chamber, except for about a meter wide gallery around the chamber splitted in half and collapsed down. Tumbling both Fractal, Sam and a drone 4 meters down into the 'basement'.

As his assumption on the other side, the floor showed up to not be concrete at all. Again, in contrast to it, the lower floor where he landed proved to be quite solid, and uncaring for his lack of protection.

Quote from: Damage Resistance Test
3 (Body) + 4 (Armor Vest Impact Armor) = 7 dice = 2 hits, no glitch
As the damage is less than the armor rating, it's converted to Stun damage.

Getting back on his feet, Fractal curse something in Sperethiel. Then he ask the others: "Everything alright up there? Sam, are you okay?"

Lucky that drones are made so sturdy. D1 looked like a turtle for a moment, Pilot completely confused by chaotic feed he received from gyroscopic sensors, then it find its way to get back on its legs and stand ready to face possible threats

... Not again ... Was the first thought Sam had when the floor beneath his feet disappeared. The fall started as usual. at first the feeling of weightlessness, then the notion of speeding up. this is the point when Sam decided to act, like a Cat he whirled around to get down on his feet.
Sam managed to turn him around when falling(3) to land on his feet, but there was something on the floor below him and his feet slipped.

{Health: 3 / 10P and 8 / 10S damage, NO -1 Wound penalty, No-2 Stun penalty} | {Edge: 1/ 4} {Defense: 4; Initiative: 12; IP's: 3} |
{Ballistic Armor: 10; Impact Armor: 8 ; Mods : Thermal Dampening (4); Nonconductivity (4); Skinlink} |
Good that this can be healed by Lips again  ::), if he decides to do so, Sams 1P damage gives him a modifer, as does fractals 3P.
@Sent
Why does the Armour Rule not apply here?

Still in astral space, Lips see the floor moving away. Since there is still the memory of gravatiy in the astral, he saks down a meter before he remebers the absence of the laws of physics. Returning to his body as quick as possible, maybe to stop the fall of his teammates, but when Lips open his mundane eyes again, both runners and the dog maschine are already on the ground. And, as it seems through astral view, still breathing.

"Are you all right down there? We will let down a rope."
