Like a well oiled machine, the team clicked in motion. Mage casted a spell through a minimal opening in the doors. Spell hit and a blue lighting sparks circled over an invisible ball hovering near the ceiling. Samurai closed a door a split second after the spell was cast. Just in time to feel a shockwave from the imploding ball and exploding spell.

Lips, recognized the effects easily - Stunball. It was centered on the opposite doors.

It seems that next chamber is safe now, but Enrico is now well aware that someone triggered the spell.
Sorry for a small delay ;)

"Okay, trap is gone. Enrico probably heard our 'knock knock'. I will stay with you in the astral space."

Lips sit down near the door and switch into astral space.

I don't know if Lips is better with astral combat or with spellcasting in mundan space. So I will find out now.

"What was that spell?" After the shock-wave hit's the door Sam asks in a bit intrigued voice.

"Just a stun spell. Interestingly, it propably would have been almost effectless on the dog drone."

Sam looks over his bruises and the few places he knows there are internal bleeding then back to lips " Would you say i look like one being hit by a stun spell? Would a mage who put this ip tricked by my injuries in believing i am stunned and helpless, more so would my implants make it harder for him to judge my aura, or how you call it?"

You weren't given the chance to finish the conversation. About two seconds later Lips astral senses warned him: magical being incoming.

Quote from: ooc

Combat mode.
Lips - roll astral init please for you and your spirits (don't forget BC 1)

incoming spirit init: 4 + 1 4d6.hits(5)=1 5 but glitched, so he will be last
[spirit 5]

Ini = Int 5 x2 = 2 hits + 10 = 12

Spirit aways Lips command so it does not do anything, but it has : Ini = Force 4 x2 = 1 hits  + 8 = 9

Quote
Free action: Speak "Spirit incoming!"
Simple Action: Switch in astral space
Simple Action: Moving to Superior Position

I assume since that was Lips plan anyway, he already has his weapon foci ready.

While for the rest of the team, Lips body falls over, miliseconds after he spoke the warning, in astral space, Lips jumps in an high arc towards the incoming spirit, flaming sword epee in his hand, a firy dschinn behind him, awaiting his orders.

Fractal was impressend by the effect of triggering the trap-spell. Even though it was just a mere moment before Sam closed the door and they stayed in the calm confort of safety, the more impressive displays of magic sometimes can still cause a disconfort. It's too easy to remember being changed when near them. He mantain himself lost in thoughts for a few moments, while Sam and Lips talk, and is only pulled back into the reality of things happening when he heard Lips scream of "Spirit incoming!"

Seing that the mage body dropped onto the floor, Fractal knows that the nastiness will probably take place on the astral space, where as far as he can tell, he can't reach. So he stays by the mage body side, in preparation should the need arise (like if the mage decide to come in flesh here while his "spirit attack on astral, flanking them from all positions? Fractal does not really understand what a magician can do and how are the planes divided, trids were never very precise on this and mages in his teams mostly keep it to themselves).

Quote from: initiative roll
I don't think it's really necessary, but just in case
4 dice = 2 hits, initiative score for this round = 6

A fiery blaze that you cannot mistake with any other being than a fire spirit appeared in the astral plane.

Whatever goes on in astral world, it doesn`t matter to Omar, so he continue to the doors, still looking for any physical trace of previous team. Since there was some kind of shooting, Omar expects to find at least some bullet holes on the oposite wall. And since the spell is gone, Omar opens the dorr, leting D1 in to do the recon, and if the chamber seems safe, he will sontinue on...and since he remeber  what happened last time, he is very light on his steps...not that it would help if some trap is still there. He misses Beavers searchlight, depending on small flashlight makes him a bit uncomfortable.

Stopping his stunning jump, Lips is a little bit disappointed about the will to fight of the spirits of today. So, back to his meat body: "Spirit comes, looks around, and runs away."

Since you can move that fast in astral plan, Lips didn't saw a reason to follow the spirit, who probably already is back to his master.

"Again, I will stay with you in astral for now, while you move forward. We should move fast, Enrico defently knows that we coming now and how many we are."

Lips move himself in a better position to sit, after he first fall down so disgracefully.

Drone's radar taken over from the Sam on the point revealed the next room after the bedroom - it is some kind of living room chamber containing table, office desk and chairs complete with a kitchen to the right wall. This chamber also ends with a short corridor and a doors leading further.

Entering the bedroom chamber you notice that the bed is unmade, bathtub looks a little rusty and a rotten devil rat hangs from the ceiling. The air smells of spoiled meat. Most of the surfaces are covered with dust and many of them are made of fireproof materials. The opposite doors have a meter wide opening in the lower part that is covered with a leathery curtain.

Radar notices movement in the living room, but it indicated that something or someone moved out to the further chamber.

There isn't much happening on the astral side, the opaque walls block the line of sight, and the background count make travelling through the side walls uncomfortable at best for the risk of getting lost. The matrix side is also empty, with no nodes in range.
Sorry for a small delay ;)

That's just not right... We should be expecting another trap, if the spirit just ran away and the one who was in this quarters also retreated.

@Team: "Maybe the last actions made me a little paranoid, but expect another trap, chummers."

Fractal spearheads the team, observing the environment with all his senses, trying to discover anything out of normality (if you can call being in a room underground normality). He approaches the doors, trusting that the thin layers that are the curtains will permit his ultrasound system to map the next chamber for him.
