Fractal proceeds to help Omar in the loading of the Beaver, and then takes one gas mask to himself (nevermind that he has one of his own); afterwards he goes to Rover to get his backpack, where his medkit and taser darts are held within.

He joins Lips and Bob again, waiting for the later response.

"Did they encounter any kind of problems, worth mentioning? Tocix gas or smaller critters?"

Well, they reported some disturbing findings. There is place below that was probably used for some sacrificing. But Tseng said it has been long time since it was used last time. There were some devil rats attacking them. But they managed to clear past them without a bruise. No gas or anything like that.
Sorry for a small delay ;)

"Look, Bob, can you provide us some info on the dissapeared men? Names, images, work profile, anything... I don't expect to find anyone more down there, but I've been surprised by stranger things in the past."

Sure, no problem, there were seven of them in total. The two weapon specialists had assault rifles. Everyone else was carrying just a sidearm. Magical support was included in the form of a medic equipped with health and combat spells.
He send you profiles on the commlink.

"Perfect. Thanks,  Mr. Bob."

That being said, Fractal turns on his heels and heads to the elevator cage to wait on the others. The earlier they go in, the earlier they come out, isn't it?

While waiting, he studies the team profiles. They were expecting to find something here, that's for sure. Why would a biologist go into an underground expedition if they just wanted to clear the place to build upon it?

Omar shared the long stare with others.
This were not god dammned amateurs. Team of trained specilists, armed, with magical support.
They better be alive, or I dont want to meet the thing that silenced them. Bloody Aztech rituals never brought any good to the people. My original unit, before disbanded, was about to leave to Bogotá region. There are always tensions, we were supposed to be peacemakers there. We had a mage in the team, Butcher. Crazy NERD motherfucker, but smart and educated. Things he was telling us about Aztlan magic were nothing that would make you think the world is nice place to live on.

It's difficult to say how far. GPS isn't working underground, and the tunels are turing often. the last message was at 21:03 about 2 hours after they got in. And like I said already, their last report was, "everything is all right, we are going further". After that we lost contact.

Sacrificing, Blood Magic, Former Aztech Basement. Could be, some blood spirit guarding some old place, the first team ran into. We will see. "Thanks very much, Mr. Johnson, I will go and prepare myself now."

First, Lips walks to the car, and talks to the small kid, names Mouse: Greetings, Lips, my name. Omar there suggested, I ask you about a ... spare commlink. Mine is, how did he put it ... a hole in the wall. Personally, I have other priorities, but an open communication channel would be, nice. Lips shows his commlink to Mouse.

If this issue is done, Lips picks up climbing gear, a gasmask and a helmet with integrated flashlight. If such a helmet does not exist, he follows Omars example and fixes it via duct tabe, plus a second flashlight which he puts into his pockets.

For the climbing gear, Lips does not really know how to use it, but in case they have to climb, he prefer the idea to be connceted via a robe to someone who knows, or at least to some rocks and hocks.

After he takes all the gear, Lips looks for Omar and the drones, Bob was talking about. "Could this maschine also carry some sets of climbing gear for use? Plus seven of those..." Lips points at some plastic bags in the corner of the carage, while looking around where Bob is at the moment. Lips assumes that any speculation that the former team is already dead, might trouble Johnsons heart even more than it is already.

Would be very ironical though, if they managed to save the whole team, and when they come back again, find out that Bob died due to a heart attack. Cruel world.

While waiting on the other guys, Fractal checks the things he took from the equipment offered by Bob: a flashlight, a gas mask, oxigen tube and a bag with RFIDs tags. He remembers Tabitha telling them to be well-armed this time. He feels the light weight that Sturm and Drang apply on their holster, and his only thought is that there's one one thing that he is today, it's not properly geared.

Would you give me a hand? Omar asks...in general...everybody and nobody...And begins to load  5 oxygen bottles on the Beaver, gas masks included. When he is done, he places a flashlight to the Dalmatians and Dobermans hull and his own helmet, fixing it with the duct tape. While other team members make their own preparations, Omar opens the hidden mount on the Rover and dismounts the Whiteknight.  When noticing Sams expression, he just tells him that:
With this gun you don`t need to aim too much, just point the barrel to the tunnel and pull the trigger. Better if we don`t need it, well Better safe than sorry.
With this he throws LMG on his shoulder, ammo belt over his nape and enters the elevator cage to check the drones transportation from down bellow.

"no no, nothing like that, just if we really have to use it i think i would be the better shot with it." Sam looked at Omars face changing. ... Why does everybody asume i am the never shoot anything type of guy? ...  "Devilrats and other vermine is of no moral importance to me, but if we run into metas, i would like to be the one wielding the big gun before anyone is injured, would you agree on this?"

he went back to the Rover and put a few(5) Flashbang granades and a 4Kg of plastic explosives + 8 detonators of each kind (Radio and timer), you never know when you might need them. as well as puting the MAglock key and autopicker in his combal load west. he took one of the flashlights as well, to provide him with the visual order of things, even thou he had his radar overlay and could navigate even in darkness.

When gathered all the stuff he Joined the others to be sent down to the deep, not knowing what the would have to expect.
"Ready to Rock&roll , right?"

Well, you make me proud son. let me set this up for you.
Omar changes the ammo belt in the machine gun from regular to Stick`n`Shock ammo. That would better fit Sams moral dilema, when it comes to shooting at metahuman. Then, with the visible relief, Omar hands WhiteKnight over to Sam, content that he can maintain his duty with drones.
Im not a dungeon crawler type, lets hope we got the equipement we need.
Folowing others example, Omar takes climbing gear over his camo.
Well,...now I think I am as prepared as possible. What about you, Mouse?

Not to look as the impatient guy, Fractal slowly walk to the equipment and pick a set of climbing gear... he hopes there's no need for it, as he really, really want to be with hands-free while down there. While passing through the new mage, he introduce himself: "I go by Fractal; I suppose you're Lips, right? Welcome to whatever this may be."

That Fractal guy  - up close you see that his eyes are silver globes and his hair presents a silver metallic flash. He keeps the hair long and currently they are braided at the back.  There is something distinct about him. He is inspiring with that angelic look, though through astral view, you can see he is sinusoiding somewhere between excited at the thrill and straight terrified.
