O devil, devil!
If that the earth could teem with woman's tears,
Each drop she falls would prove a crocodile.
Out of my sight!

Trusting that the rest of the team know how to kill a freaking animal, Lips focus on the corps, (2 hits) , but the wounds are to cruel to do say anything for sure.

Lips also uses astral and mundane vision to look at the body and around it for any other clue.

I forgot about the quality and it would apply, I've rolled those two dices for you 2d6.hits(5)=2

You notice that while limbs were torn the head had been cut clean.
Sorry for a small delay ;)

Is it dead for long? Or may it be the one of those we are looking for?

Omar sets the spotlight to provide full light to Lisps observations.

Omar knew the chance is small, but if that body was cybered at least a bit, he may get some info on implants. He came closer, kneels and runs scan for cyberware service nodes:
EW(4)+Scan(5)+VR(2) (11d6.hits(5)=4)

Sam Gives Omar his gun back with no hesitation. "sorry Pal it felt just so wrong in my hands, I think these big guns are not made for me, i will stick to Pistols for now." then he turned back  the way they came, the pile of rubble had made a interesting impression and he wanted to check it out So he followed the dalmatian drone until the junction and went on straight. until he cam the rubble. He concentrated on his radars readings so he would know if something was on the other side.

While Omar and Mouse worked with drones. Sam walked alone to the junction and further. After the tunnel turned north some hundred meters farther, a cave in started. Radar reading weren't much help. In the radius of 25 meters ground and concrete and shreds of metal. Having nothing else to do Sam returned to the group.

After commanding Dobbey to come down here, Mouse will work on the com link that Mr. Fractal gave him to let Lips use. Mouse will operate in AR. Darn thing is nicer than mine, he thought. Unca Omar can operate the lift to the the drones here. I need to get Lips up and running with coms. He makes sure that the rest of the team knows what he found out from the initial data search and Mouse will have the sprite continue the search finishing up his services in a remote service it has 3/4edge remaining. That way Mouse can get the com line going for Mr. Lips and help Unca Omar with the drones. Good thing I grabbed the toolbox.

@Omar: Unca Omar, maybe the flight drone could still be of some use to us. There was a small platform of rubble as we came down that the VTOL could land on. I might be useful to keep there as a relay station so we can maintain coms with the surface. We could use Wiz (fly-spy) for visual recon, which will won't make any noise. BTW, I ran across a blog mentioning a tactical network which might make what we try to do easier. Do you think we should look into something like that when we get back?

He should have that completed by the time we get the other drone down here. He will hand Mr. Lips' comlink back to him as well that the one that Mr Fractal gave him.
Mr. Lips, this is Mr. Fractal's com link, he said you can borrow it. It's all ready for you to use. I haven't looked at yours yet, but since it's an older model it will probably need some upgrades to function properly. I'll see what we need to do as time permits.

"Thank you Mr. Mouse" Lips didn't quite understand if he has to do that upgrading now? Usually, he only clicked on a popup every week or so, asking, if the upgrade should be installed now or after the reboot. Lips shrugs his shoulders and replace that new link with his old one which he puts down in is side back. He will figure it out later somehow.

@team: "Test, Test. it's seems I am connected now.

I checked the body, its head seems to be cut of, while the rest are more likely torn of by the aligator. We deal with some sapient creature, at least sapient enough to hold a saw or sword of some kind. My guess, someone killed him somewhere deeper in these tunnel and placed it here to attracked critters,  like devil rats or ... in our case an aligator ... as an 'do-not-disturb' sign, so to say. But why taking the head? My humble knowledge about this city is rather small, but anybody know of any group or so, who take this kind of cruel trophies?
"

He walks back to Omar and his maschines: "Checked the water, clear for now, but probably won't stay that way, if we leave those two corpses here. Say, is your flying maschine capable of carrie that at least that meta body? If we but it into a body bag and strap it somehow to the drone? We could ask Mr. Bob to check check the identity. Don't know, by fingerbrints or DNA or something like that." Lips makes a mental note, to make sure to inform Mr. Johnson before they send the first body up, that kind of surprise wouldn't be to good for his health.

When Sam returns, Lips extends his own map of the tunnels with the new information:

After that Lips again addresses his watcher: "Good job, you are free to go now. Have a nice day." With that Lips release the grips he has over the reality formed into the astral being before him, and the watcher plops out of mundane existens.

Omar looks at Mouse with approval nod.
Very good idea, Mouse. It has about one klick signal range, So i better place it deeper in the cave. For now it rests here and we will see how far it should get. FlySpies have limited sensor array for this situation IMO, but in pair they may be able to help at least a bit, they got IR and visual but no Radar. Ok. Lets link them to D1, it may provide them with basic area description for navigation, and also basic atmosphere analysis for us. Here, it is done now.
Omar finishes placing the LMG to the Dobbey`s mount;
Let`s do it this way. Since you say you are also sneaky guy, you shoud take control of point with D1. I`ll take care of flying bots and defence line with this heavy. if there is some shooting, you will be able to fire the D1 SMG...otherwise you should let pilot fire for you, it has a targeting software installed. Well it would be better to fall back so we can concentrate fire from multiple directions, so if you get into something, run and lure bad guys  to ambush if possible. That tactical network we can talk later. Ive been thinking about that, well I didnt had sufficient funds so far...what do you say?

As Fractal closed to the crossing, his enhanced senses picked up new details of the surrounding area.

The tunnel leading north is about three or four times longer then the path you've covered so far. and at the end of that area there is another T-like junction. The junction room is round and there is also well leading upward. The noise of the water is louder now (at least for him).
