Having checked astrally, that no threats are before you, and feeling quite safe following the steps of the previous team, you went further north. toward the upwared well. As expected you found a east west corridor, the on the east side turned north after some 80 meters and ended up with a wall similar to the one to the south (build few years ago). On the sides of the well was a small pipe that was trickling more water to the small stream and adding to it.
After checking the RFID on the south wall of the east corridor (reading "20:11") you've followed to the eastern tunnel. The sound of rushing water increased and was audible even to those of you without hearing enhancements. After about 50 meters, the tunnel turned north and after another two hundred meters you found yourselves at the junction.
There you found a crack in the eastern wall, opposite to the side tunnel. Both in the crack and on the floor you found more than a dozen bodies of devil rats, and around 30 assault rifle shells. The side tunnel leads to a small chamber forming another dead end. As you expected the chamber, roughly 4m square have walls covered with pictographs written with a red-brown ink. On the ground, you see ritual materials – small piles of ashes, burned-down candles, dry herbs and several piles of small bones. The air in the chamber is completely motionless. The air is dry and smells slightly flowery. The candles on the ground are made of red and black wax.
Astral perception shows no background count or any lingering auras. Radar shows that this place was reinforced with metal rings a little denser than the main tunnel. There are at lest three rings on the length of two meters in contrast to the one per ten meters in the main trunk.
You have also scouted further north, where you found final RFID tagging "21:03". The problem is that it is attached to the side of a downward leading well. The water gathering form the tunnels is cascading down here.
Looks like you’ll have to climb down. The well is slightly narrower then the tunnels and have barely three meters in diameter.
as you probably want to assess your chances to climb down safely. you will have to make an Strength + climbing (16, 1 combat turn) extended test with -2 modifiers (-2 for flat surface, -2 for wet surface, +2 for assisted climbing for those that use climbing sets).
glitch result in falling off.
if you have a line - you may want to try rappelling - you'll need to score 2 hits in a single test.
