Blinking slightly at the message from Wyrmtongue, Predator gives a sigh and says quietly to herself, "Well, in the state Wyrmtongue is in, he/she probably won't remember the way anyway especially seeing stars... Red and blue lights...oh fraggit all." She turns to 3BB and says quickly, "I'm a bit busy driving here, think you could manage shutting down the patrol car back there? I'll keep trying to lose it, but considering Wyrm back there, that's easier said than done." At that, she again concentrates on losing the tail, but is more concerned with the vehicle behind Wyrmtongue's cab than she is with the cab.

With the commotion escalating and the word that the team had a 'link with some paydirt, Kris decided to ditch with the others.  She hops back in her car and heads out, but wondering if she could take the comm home with her she messages the others 'Hey, any chance I could get the commlink of you guys to investigate? Tell me where you're at and I'll meet you.

He settles back in the vehicle, letting his senses relax. Need to keep my mind clear...

After finally breaking the cop's tail, Predator heads home and while driving--much more casually at this point--she transmits to the team, "I'm headed to my place. I'll let you know when I get there, and when I do, transmit your location and I'll...send someone to come get you."

When she finally reaches the parking garage for her apartment building, she pulls in and parks. Grabbing the cat drone and jumping out of the Rover, she waits until 3BB exits the vehicle before securing it and heading to the elevator to her floor. As she walks down the hall to her apartment, she again sends a message to the rest of the team, "All right, I'm here. If you'll transmit your position, I'll see about getting your ride." At that she transmits a message to her 'roommate' via text, "13@n@, could I get a favor from you? I need you to go to a specific vehicle in a certain location and bring it here in as much of a roundabout fashion as you can. The positions of the vehicles in question should be incoming in a few minutes."

Sugoi had retrieved his swordbefore everyon headed off and he scooted off driving around and laying low, last thing he wanted to do is get followed back to his place.

Somehow, the dog brain of the cab managed to keep on Predator's tail. This was made easier by the fact that the cab was only a little more than one meter behind Predator's vehicle the entire time. It was fortunate she never had to stop suddenly during the drive. When they got to the apartment building, the cab parked next to Predator's car. A few moments later, Wyrmtongue got out, shakily, but coming down off the high from the BTL trip. Managing to get into the elevator with the others, she slumped against 3BB for support, saying, "Wow. Those new BTL downloads are killer. You should have tried them, Preddy, baby. By the way, you said you found a link, right?"

Predator sets the cat drone on the table and looks over at Wyrmtongue saying, "I'll take your word for it. Never cared to mess with BTLs myself. Or anything other than cigarettes and booze for that matter." She walks over to a cabinet after lighting a cigarette and pulls down a bottle, "Speaking of which, anyone care for a drink?" Setting the bottle on the table briefly to check her comm for incoming messages, she notices the message from Sugoi and beams a message to the A.I. letting 'her' know the location.

Eventually Sugoi arrived after a couple fo trial and errors since his bike doesn't have a gyro stabalizer for remote control, so he ended up balancing it for the AI to pilot. He arrives pulling the bike aside and would enter the home of Predator, he'd stand against the wall leaning ever so slightly. "I will take a water."

Sending a text to Wyrm: I can get some decent BTL's if you're interested.  I'm a user myself, just try to keep off it when you're on a job.  Hit me up after this is done.

Once Kris arrives at the apartment with the others she states she's okay when a drink is offered.  But tries to keep on business, "So what do we have.  All I was told was that we had a 'link, some paydata, and we all split.  I'd like to at least see what we're working with."

Wyrm collapsed into a chair, still looking out of it, but much better than before. "I'll have what you're drinking, Preaddy. And I don't normally partake when it comes to BTLs on the job. But seemed a good way to keep the groupies distracted while you searched the room, yeah? Unless you wanted me to start an orgy."

Looking back at the others, she said, "Well, if there's good info on the commlink, then we made out well. But that's in those of you with matrix skills to deal with. I can barely work mine."

To Kris, she sent: Oooh. Yes! I always love seeing what new BTLs are on the market. Fortunately, they aren't too hard to find at the clubs.

Predator tosses Sugoi a bottle of water before pouring everyone a drink and taking a seat with everyone else. Pulling the commlink she found from the inner pocket of her lined coat, she sets it on the table and says, "I did a cursory hack on it when I found it and discovered an email about the disk in its memory, but I didn't want to press my luck and try getting in deeper at the time. Between all of us, we should be able to get whatever else in there."
