Speaking of techno evolution, I seem to remember that the Waiting to Die adventure had 2 villains who were small children, and both were Awakened with lots of 'ware that didn't affect it because of some experiment...any chance of this popping up in canon or of Deus or The Resonance doing something similar to TMs?

Love that adventure because no team has managed to survive without geeking the kids.

It definitely sounds like a fan-created adventure; while sometimes the writers can get ... weird ... the fans can get even more bizarre.  Small Awakened children with null-impact cyber as the villains?  Yeah, definitely not a published product ...

Not surprised. I always liked it because of the several points where it's impossible to NOT kill innocent people and still survive. Really messes with alot of players. But I'm way off-topic.

I'm 85% 100% sure that adventure was written by none other than Aaron Pavao. It's called Born To Die, though, not Waiting To Die.

I ran it for my team back in December of 2009, had a blast although IIRC the ending left the team with a lot of tough moral questions/internal disagreements.
