Rafa said, twirling his tongue around one of his small tusks in a very visible way. "Don't go straight for the hacking, let's first case out the place. Ahuechei watched the car start, then he jumped on his bike and hit the gas. Before long he had taken a couple of shortcuts and found himself a nice and quiet parking spot near the club, adjusted his gear, and proceeded inside.

Then he got himself a drink and started to move around, trying to look like the average patron (and hoping he succeeded at that) and watching out for anything that would shed any light on the mess he had gotten himself in - or any signs of danger, for that matter.

"I don't have to hack into everything I see," Panther said, "but I will make sure my microtappers are at the ready should the need arise.  Maybe I can check to see if this roof has a laser receiver or repeater.  Ah, Ahu has arrived," she added, seeing his message, "How much longer for us?"

"Depends. Ya think "Charisma Associates" is paying our speeding tickets?", Rafa replied rhetorically.
"And yeah, I was thinking about going after those laser receivers too, but then by hand. In the other building, the system must'a been built after the system and they didn't bother putting the lines inside the walls, they were pretty easy to follow. If it's the same for this place, it should be a piece of cake finding out where they've got the recording equipment."

The Derma Club has lost most of its former glitz and glamour over the past decade. The streets and buildings in the neighborhood all got shifted and dropped by the Twins, leaving everything slightly crooked. A patchwork of asphalt has allowed the occasional spill or runoff to concentrate and stain the road. Heavy bars on the windows and the gate in front of the door show the measures the owner has taken to deal with different times and a different clientele. The club has not even bothered to improve its appearance through AR. As you approach, a few rough-looking patrons shuffle in.

taking a look on the video-feed incoming from Ahuechei you make out at least 6 different guards in the club, there are also some gangers and some other rough looking folk among the patrons. the Club itself leaves no room for imagination, every security-man is showing what they have on them mostly Extendable Baton combined with Ares Predator IV in their holster,

On the astral the Club seems even less then the normal, there are almost no Magically active patrons in it what so ever, and no magical security as well. at least in the main room. As you come in you take in a faint smell of Dog, you are not sure what kind of dog, you are not sure, but one thing is sure, it's fresh.

"Looks 'nice'," Panther said, "who wants to go inside."

Rafa parked the Rover a small distance away from the club, got out and grabbed his backpack.
"You guys go ahead if you want, I'll go check the roof for electronics.", he said while crossing the road and starting a light run towards a small alley. He ducked into the shadows cast by the few still-working streetlights and activated the ruthenium polymer coating in his clothes.
Seconds later, he was clinging to the wall several meters above ground, nearly invisible to anyone on the street. With gecko-like movements he crawled towards the roof of Club Derma. He wasn't very pleased with his performance, the old brick occasionally crumbled under his grip, causing small pieces to fall down, making a sound and forcing him to pick a new, less concealed route with more sturdy architecture. Still, he was confident that the chameleon coating and darkness would hide his presence and the music from the club and noise from the street would drown out the sound.
 
Spotting two guards on the roof -apparently taking a cigarette break- Rafa lowered himself back into the shadows, pressing against the wall in a corner of the building. As he waited for them to go back inside, his muscles tensed, readying himself to leap upwards should either of them decide to look over the ledge.
"No kidding about this guy being paranoid. Two more guards on the roof. That's eight guards, minimum.  If he's renting out backrooms for more intimacy with the girls, there'll be even more there. Gonna wait for 'em to go back inside unless you guys think I should take 'em out quietly so they won't become a problem later. How you guys doing?"

Rafa's hiding spot was ideal to hear the conversation the two guards were having.

Both voices start to move toward the ledge

Now both of them are at the edge of the roof, not 5m from the spot Rafa is hiding at.

Returning Caretaker order five drinks, for himself synth-rum with soda and cola essence sprinkled with lemon juice, synth-tequilla, dry synth-wermuth and olive for Tipsy, energy drink for Panther, whatever passed-for-white-wine here for Freya and a glass of sparkling water for Freya also as she'll probably refuse to drink the pass-for-white-wine anyway.
