If you wanna be paranoid, yes, but I can't see a connection or a reason why would they play a comedy like this when somebody could come any minute...Why would he aim the taser at Mike? Why would they want to convince some random doctors to...about...??
Unless they are playing some mastermind game, but they don't look like evil overlords (but maybe that's the clue!)

One more thing about the conceability of the taser, it's currently on a concealable holster, hiden in Mike clothes (it adds -1 to the conceability); but action declared is action done.

As soon as possible, Mike will quick draw his taser and reply with a dart to Ravier threat. Until them, he will be waiting.

It's not combat yet. We did the INI so if you want to attack or do something like that, you know in what order you can act. But nobody acted so the first round of surprise is done.

Now as I wrote, the guard steps and grabs Nina. I don't know what she's waiting for, but the next IC will be "the guard grabbed her and ..."

I'm waiting for you guys to do something. So either step out, fight or Ravier will just simply shoot you in the face because you just stand as statues.  :o

"Don't let the die rule the game!" - is one of the GM advices in the core book. Grabbing a standing person with hands up doesn't require a martial arts specialization. :) Unless you resist, but you wrote that Nina waits, so that doesn't seems to be the case.

Netz! That attack roll will have to wait a little. I mean the guy stands with a taser aimed at you. If you had succeeded in quick-drawing we could argue, but this way he's gonna shoot first. You may invoke Full Defense, but then of course you can't shoot and the roll will be used later.

Okay, I may edit it so that the shot did not happen.

Heyheyhey! Finishing move can be used if you successfully attacked someone! So please scratch that roll from history and if you finish an IP please list your actions in a spoiler section

Free action - xy
Complex action - z
End IP 1

Farothel, I don't know if you saw this:

On the other side of the aether a guy named Watchmaker answers. Apparently, he's a drone expert and knows a few people around the city. He had missing person cases before, and he's quite frank about it - "there's little chance after this much time" - he says with a sympathetic voice - "but if you're willing to try, I'm ready. Not gonna be cheap, though."

Netz: You may use your previous attack roll or do something else with your simple action.

I replied to it.

Your taser doesn't have a smartgun system, but you get +2 point blank. Please guys, if you can, open the chummer file while planning an action - I need to rely on you knowing your characters a little, I cannot pay attention to every little detail. So please re-check your post, see if everything is OK before leaning back satisfied :)

Sorry about the mistake, I though all the guns were smarlinked, but the taser is not in order to not be restricted in any fashion. Anyway, it also had a laser sight.
I will be a little more careful on the next action.

Sichr! Stop abusing martial arts! :) Both finishing move and riposte counts as an interrupt action. You can only have 1 interrupt action per IP, which uses up your next IP. So riposte is OK, but scratch fm, please. :)

Well no!
Now everything Ive done is alowed by rules, and when you read martial arts, it is even encouraged by Arsenal fluff to work creatively with this. There is nothing like "One interrupt action" at the time, I would be easily able to use Full defense (interrupt) + Riposte (Interrupt) + Finishing move (Interrupt) and one more if needed using my 1st IP in next combat turn.
What you say is not true.
And one more time you will tell me Im ABUSING rules, you will continue without me.
there is no abusing rules, there is only using loop holes.
rules in the RL are so strictly written just because they are dual either you follow them or not, there is no room for discussion, so if it's not forbidden then it is allowed.
but i would not personally like to use up all my actions in one go and then look how others are having fun, would you Sichr?
Prepare for the worst, hope for the best and expect nothing!
