Officially, Aden is a male Great Dragon.

In-character, people of the Sixth World aren't sure because he's appeared in female metahuman form when he has appeared at all.

Are you saying that Clutch of Dragons is not official?

It is if it says he's not male.

Either way one of us is stupendously wrong.

Shadowrun is not BattleTech..all information in the books is true. That the WHOLE entry on Aden refers to Aden as a
female, and includes mentions of her eggs...Just saying that there are conflicting, in-universe reports on Aden's gender.
Sex is a different matter, of course.

Well, she did destroy an entire city that snubbed her.

Like I said, in-universe no one outside the immortals is certain which Aden is.

OOC: he is in fact male. The eggs are just the clutch he, like all Greats, has been entrusted to keep and protect and raise. As I recall that has been established since DotSW.

Which is why I thought that was strange because as far as I know Clutch only refers to the confusion in character.

Considering the person who wrote the article on Aden claimed to have been one of "her" agents, I figured that
he was letting out a bit of a secret. The author of that section was CONSISTENT on the gender reference. (I am
beginning to wonder if, when dealing with Aden, gender and sex are not entirely the same, though...)

*limps back in, still smouldering and a bit chewed on*

Well that went well.

Got inside with the fake ID Angelone supplied, I thought my performance went rather well.

Triggered the mini-explosives in the cup, oh the look on Aden's face when they popped was worth it.

Course then the fire and the chewing began..... so many teeth... *shudder*

Lost all of the entourage, wouldn't have made it out without those anthroform decoys.

Anyway.....  Did you get it? What did the towels report?

You got it right?

RIGHT?

Do you believe in a greater WIRELESS, an Invisible(WiFi) All Seeing(detecting those connected- at least if within 100'), All Knowing(all online data) Presence that we can draw upon for Wisdom(downloads & updates), Strength (wifi boni) and Comfort (porn) or do you turn your back on it  (Go Offline)?

What ever happened to Samuel "Twist" Verner and Hart.  I know that he was burned out and made mundane by his Ghostdance, and he was also "carrying" the souls, anima, essence, whatever of the fallen Dancers.  But what happened to those two afterward.  I'd like to know.

Twist shows up in the 3E book 'Sprawl Survival Guide'.  It's a short piece, and doesn't cover much, dated 2062.  Basically at that point he's still a shadowrunner with a narcoject pistol.  Doesn't cover the old crew except Dodger posts a comment on the piece and they mention Morgana.

Doesn't mention his burned-out ness, or Hart or Sally for that matter.

Not aware of any other reference but I have not read any of the 4E books outside of the core book and Unwired.

Jake Armitage, the main character of the SNES Shadowrun video game, appears (sort of) in Splintered State and the events of the game are also mentionned. I guess that now makes the SNES game part of the canon (minus a couple of small retcons to make it fit within the whole AI/Deus story arc).

Any word on Daniel Howling Coyote's whereabouts?
He's dead. He died while helping a Dog shaman called Twist perform a second Great Ghost Dance to stop a whole bunch of nukes from going boom. It is in one of the earliest Shadowrun novels, part of the Secrets of Power trilogy.

Dying is just one step that a Shaman must take.  Death happens quite often for them.

OK, here are a couple others.

The Vampire Consipracy from Threats. Anything ever go on with that? I vaguely remember a book, Nosferatu I think...but I didn't think the two were tied together.

What's up with KSAF? They still around and kicking?

The Vampire Conspiracy was followed up in The Terminus Experiment. Ordo Maximus has since been a recurring blood magic/cyberancy player.

KSAF is still around but lost most of its juice after Dunk died, and then they lost their physical offices. Seattle 2072 has them operating as a "virtual corp" operating almost entirely online.
