and I wonder if Hestaby would use them to kick other dragons in the Shins after her outing....
Tech dreams of organic toys
And I'm runnin' out on the edge
Soft screams of the rockerboys
Echoing through my head

The Vampire Conspiracy was followed up in The Terminus Experiment. Ordo Maximus has since been a recurring blood magic/cyberancy player.

Mmm... Makes me wonder if Another Rainy Night's story is tied to that plot...

Which one? The one in TE or the overall Ordo plot?

Not that I could say, but I'm curious.

How about Ghost-Who-Walks-Inside and Sally Tsung?

Didn't they slip on a bar of soap?

Yes this is old, but it's too awesome to remain buried on page XX!

So I have to ask what happened to Peter Clarris aka Da'Profezzur from The Changeling novel?

No data.  Most likely?  Either he was killed during Bug City and/or its aftermath, or he can be a part of Season ... 5?  6?   Whatever Season of Mission's we're on.

I could swear that Ghost got a mention in one of the 4th edition books. an off hand reference to his having retired. I don't think Sally has been mentioned at all since the Secrets of Power Triolgy. She just sorta dropped off the radar. Dead or vanished like so many other runners. It's a harsh life.

Considering that the SNES game is now at least partially canon (with Jake Armitage showing up, in a way, in Splintered State), I was wondering if the Kitsune mentioned in a scenario back in Corporate Enclaves was actually meant to be the same character as in the video game? They certainly have similarities (being both red fox shapeshifters and magicians).

If they are indeed one and the same, I'm a bit sad that she's dead.

And since Corporate Enclaves mentions she's had offsprings, I wonder if the implication was that Armitage is the father? (I'm not actually sure if shapeshifters and regular humans can have children together).

Shapeshifters cannot mate with humans.  Sex, yes; produce offspring (i.e. 'mate'), no.  Always remember that shapeshifters are animals with the ability to assume a human shape.  It doesn't make them human any more than posting as Marzhin makes you a computer.  ;)

This seems to be something many people either miss in the write up (don't know why as it's the first sentence) or ignore...

but yes, shifters and meta-humans can NOT reproduce, no matter how many times they "bump ugly"
Where am I going? And why am I in a hand basket ???

For my defense, I'm on a business trip and don't have my rulebooks at hand to check :) I just took my copy of Corporate Enclaves because I wanted to read the chapters dedicated to Neo Tokyo ^^

Thanks for the clarification in any case :)

I suppose only the writer of that particular chapter knows whethere or not it was supposed to be the same Kitsune as in the SNES game...

You never know ;)

And I know what its like to travel and not have your books handy. I spend 8 to 10 months of the year away from home as well.

Let's see I got 2 success on my memory check so that tells me Opti covered this in an episode and that he like many of the old guard just sort of disappeared. There were rumors of him finding a way to reverse his goblinization but decided to not use it but that's all I got.
